“I booked this rental based on the pictures and then read the reviews later. I was nervous after reading the reviews bit have to say i was pleasantly surprised. It's clear that the owners listened to the feedback of others. And honestly you are literally steps away from the ocean. It's the best location. We woke up and watched seals and dolphins. The weather wasn't great when we were there and were so comfortable inside playing have and watching the waves roll in. Such a great trip. Everything……

“Location is great to the beach, Disney and LA. Parking was tight and confusing as to which side of the garage was ours. Top floor gets the left side BTW. Get to the garage from the alley. Had an issue with the dish washer and it was fixed the same day. 👍 The beach chairs and toys were super helpful.”

“While the beds are a little squeeky and fixtures/showers are a little dated, you can't beat the view. Fast internet with coverage throughout the house, plenty of hot water for showers for a family of 6, and a great welcoming package of snacks. Easy checkin/checkout, good comms with the host, nice to have a parking spot too. Great value!!”

The downstairs was modern and updated, the upstairs was dated and could use a modern update, but for the price it was fine especially for off-season in March. “The beach house was perfect for a Newport Beach and Balboa island trip. The Wi-Fi is fast, the beds are comfy, the location is fantastic! I swear the cookware and kitchen necessities are the best we’ve had at a vrbo. You are about 1/2 block from beach and two blocks from balboa ferry. Coffee shops nearby, pier and late night cocktails!”
