“This is favorite place to stay in Newport. We have been staying at Newport inn for the last 6 years at least twice a year. Staff is awesome and helpfull. They have beach chairs, beach towels, umbrellas, boogie boards, beach toys and bikes. The walk to the beach takes roughly 3 min. There is also a playground in the back if you have children. Parking is included in the price, which is unheard of with every other location charging around 20 dollars a day, i believe. If you are visiting Newport to……

“Very good place”

“They had clean sheets, clean towels and the mattress was clean. The gentleman who brought the refrigerator was kind.”

“I am very angry about this stay. When I checked in, the door and windows were left open, and the room smelled damp and moldy. The curtain had what looked like blood stains, and the bedsheet had mold spots. Since it was already late and I had a full workday the next day, I reluctantly decided to stay. When I picked up the plastic “Do Not Disturb” sign, I found oil on it, which was disgusting. The room had almost no sound insulation. I could clearly hear the TV from the next room and footsteps in……

“We booked two nights in a bay view king room and they put us on the 5th floor. My wife woke up with an insect bite which looked like a bed bug. They sent someone over and later said they didn't find any bed bugs. They changed our room to the 6th floor. When we got to the new room and turned the TV off we noticed a constant hum. Called the front desk and they sent an engineer who first said it was a guest taking a shower. We insisted that the noise had been going on for over an hour after which……

“It was not horrible, but I would have preferred to stay at the Hyatt next door, where the staff is much friendlier, and there are many better shopping and restaurant options. ”

“So many things to do just at the resort it’s self! They provide lots of amenities and extras that I wasn’t expecting, like free beach chairs and bicycles! The staff was fabulous, location was great, and the rooms were beautiful! 10/10”
