“Aneka's place is perfect to access Jedediah Smith Redwood Forest. The guest quarters accommodated three of us very comfortably. Aneka stocked it with all the essentials and more, including fresh eggs from her chickens. (Close the bedroom window or use a white noise machine or her rooster will greet you bright and early.) She keeps the place very clean and gave us keys to come and go easily. We cooked a meal for ourselves, made easy with all the pots and pans available. Best of all for us,……

“Just as advertised, there is a staircase to the beach within steps of the property. Bill and Linda were a joy as hosts. We informed about a few ants which I'm sure have been addressed by now. Everything functioned well. Nice big washer and dryer.”

“My fiancée and I adored this property! Its just 5 minutes or so from town, quite and tranquil. Rennie and Hope were lovely, provided us with filtered water, coffee/tea and had an ADORABLE microwave/mini fridge set up. Mosquitoes are totally normal but also suck. We had bug repellent and there was a repellent coil on the back porch so it didnt bug us much. 10/10 will absolutely return! Thank you so so much!”

“Very nice home and location. You could spend a whole weekend just by foot walking to the nearby beaches, light house, brewery, pier, tide pools, post office, etc. we only had to go into town once to the supermarket that was less than 5 mins away. This home has so many extra amenities like the outdoor hot tube with a view of the lighthouse and the sea. This home definitely had a welcoming vibe with great quality of all the important details plus you can feel the care and appreciation the owners……

“A really great stay. The only thing lacking was a view but the unit was fantastic. Everything is new and the location is great. Easy walk to the beach, restaurants, and groceries. Everything needed was provided and the host provided lots of ideas on things to do. Highly recommended!”

“We had a wonderful experience at this property. The house was clean and well kept. The fenced backyard was perfect for our small dog and 2-year-old. Plenty of space for us to relax and beach access was a few minutes walk away. The manager made sure we had everything we needed and I'm sure would have been quick to respond to any issues, though we had none during our 5 nights stay. Highly recommended!”

“This cottage was the perfect place for a romantic getaway. The views were spectacular and it was a very peaceful setting-inside and out. We enjoyed waking up to the serene gardens in the front of the property surrounded by coastal trees. The property sat on a bluff overlooking the ocean-amazing sunsets, beautiful and private. There were many bird sightings (including a grey heron who visited us) and we enjoyed the nature within the area-Noyo Headlands Park, Glass Beach, and the Mendocino……

“We stayed at this VRBO in 2022 and enjoyed it so much we had to come back! It is a great location to be near the ocean and take in all the beautiful sights around Mendocino. The Forest Suite is peaceful and relaxing... perfect for getting away from it all for a few days. We would venture out in the mornings to go on hikes or just do some sight seeing, and then come back to the suite to kick back and read a good book. Such a nice vacation! Highly recommended!”
