“It was our first stay in a lighthouse keeper's inn. The room was very clean and tastefully decorated. There was ample light entering the room from both the north and south sides. We stayed for two nights and the kitchen had ample utensils and plates to cook food from scratch and/or warm prepared food.The only thing that we would have had liked would be more rugs on the floor and more mats in the bathroom. “The Lighthouse Assistant House #4 was a fantastic vacation home for a family. The house is very clean and roomy. The kitchen is very well-equipped which makes for easy family meal prep. The house is in an ideal location for whale watching and hiking as well beautiful scenery for photography. There is lots to do for the whole family. A great place for a get-a-way for the family. The hosts are very responsive, with an easy check-in process. I highly recommend.”

“We loved staying here! Clean, cozy, and close to great coffee and Thai food. Diane and Damian were very friendly and welcoming. They heated up our room for us on a cold evening. “Walking in was like walking into a tropical vacation with the look and the welcoming scent. It was a really great end to a lot of traveling. “Wonderful quaint and cute inn with spectacular views of Anchor Bay and the Pacific Ocean. The Whale Watch octagonal room was like time capsule from the 70s with big comfy couches around a central fireplace and lots of activities. Miren the owner and manager is super helpful, accommodating, and a a great resource about the history of the property. Definitely a fun and memorable experience! ”

“Queen's Loft was a nice surprise! I expected a small second-story loft, but it was quite large with a kitchenette, nice roomy bathroom, dining area, living area and 2 king beds (and 2 twin bed that we didn't use), and lots of windows that we opened at night to let the cool, piney-scented air in. What I loved the most was how quiet it was there. Going to sleep breathing piney-scented cool air in complete silence was wonderful....best rest I've had in a long time!”

“This was exactly what my wife and i were looking for! Chris, the host was awesome with communication. The property has amazing walking roads and nature everywhere you look that just matches the Cabin Vibe. The fireplace so cozy after our walk viewing wild flora and fauna. The hot tub is perfect for two people amd is private even though its up at thr main house. This was absolutely what we needed and more then we expected. We will be looking at this for our future get aways!!!!!”
