Our visit was very short on Martha's Vineyard, only two days and one night for a family of 4\. We were very pleased with our stay at Madison Inn. It had a feeling of a bed and breakfast place. It was a cozy, clean, and centrally located inn with an amazing staff. The staff were attentive, helpful, and made us feel welcome. Everything was within a walking distance and easy to explore from where we stayed. Walk to anything; food, ferry, beach. The rooms are beautiful and the staff is terrific. There is no on site parking, you have to rely on timing and a bit of luck to find a spot in the municipal lots or on street parking in the area around the Oak Bluffs Police Station. But I had no problem with it at all. Once I was parked I was able to walk to anything quickly and easily. The Inn was smaller than I expected, the parking is a little issue, but the clean comfortable room, and the very helpful and pleasant staff is what stands out and are superior to any expectations. It was charming and in a fabulous location. Beds were super comfortable. The weather was less than cooperative but the hospitality was warm and everyone was beyond friendly. I was not sure when I booked but it was so close to the ferry thought it was a good choice. I had low expectations, but was very happy with choice. Good value. We had good weather, so took advantage of sitting in the nice courtyard to relax for a while between activities. A delightful beverage, fruit and snack bar was conveniently located near the lobby. Our room was was spacious and very comfortable. My room was clean, beautiful, and well-appointed with everything I needed. The coffee bar had fruit and breakfast snack bars, as well as freshly baked pumpkin bead each morning. Staff was friendly and helpful.
