Enjoy a relaxing vacation in this beautiful cabin overlooking Brush Creek. Just minutes from Ontario, canoeing, Wildcat State Park, Kickapoo Valley Reserve and the Elroy-Sparta Bike Trail.

You'll find a slower paced lifestyle in Ontario, come enjoy rural Wisconsin while staying in our well equipped home nestled into the hillside. Take the winding driveway up the hill from Highway 33 and you'll find the cabin with parking directly in front of the house for 2 vehicles. Sitting on the deck you'll have a view of the valley below including Brush Creek.

Inside the open floor plan offers a large space to sprawl out or have a cozy family dinner. The full size kitchen with concrete countertops and stainless steel appliances is an inviting place to cook dinner. An enclosed loft upstairs offers a private bedroom with a window looking into the forest. While the downstairs bedroom offers easy access to the living space and bathroom.

We are able to keep costs low and without a cleaning fee due to the great guests we have. Guests are responsible for leaving the cabin how they found it. A check-out list is provided in our Welcome Book (at the cabin) to ensure our cleaning staff only have to launder the linens and tidy up the cabin. This allows us to have a quick turn-around period for our next guests.

Crowe's Cabin is best enjoyed by folks who are fully accessible. To access the cabin you must walk up a slightly inclined parking area and stairs (as shown in the photos).

Crowe's Cabin is owned by Crowe's Cabin, LLC. The cabin is licensed by the State of Wisconsin. Vernon County Health Department requires single use condiments, thus we are not able to provide bulk spices, condiments, coffee or tea.

We had a very restful and restorative 5 day stay. We explored the area, utilizing the house for a place to eat, play games and sit out front overlooking the field.

Beautiful nature setting

We enjoyed a mid week getaway to bike some local trails. This was a comfortable landing spot at the end of the days. Beautiful property, enjoyed the birds and deer we saw daily!

A wonderful break away from it all

Absolutely loved Crowe’s cabin. It felt safe, secure and homey. Two large thunderstorms passed through and the house just felt solid and cozy. Easy access to the Kickapoo river was wonderful and we made good use of the games and puzzles. A great stay!

Great cabin to unwind!!

This is our 4th stay at Crowe's Cabin. We love sitting on the patio in the morning and enjoying our coffee. Great place to sit in the evening and enjoy a glass of wine while grilling a steak. Very peaceful. We plan to be back!!

Very cute cabin well kept. You can hear bird’s singing, be careful of deer crossing roads. In a quiet area and close to canoeing, tubing, kayaking and close to a state park. You can also see the Amish going down the road in there buggy with a horse or 2 horses pulling it. Enjoyed staying there for 4 nights.

The perfect get-away

The cabin was lovely and the perfect place to sit back and relax, read a book, play games with the family or simply observe the beautiful surroundings including stargazing. It’s close proximity to so many wonderful outdoor activities. We kayaked the Kickapoo, biked the Elroy Sparta trail, fished a little, hiked at wildcat, even saw a bald eagle. We did not want to leave!

Driftless Area Slice Of Heaven

This is our 3rd stay at Crowe's Cabin and we plan to be back many more times!! We enjoyed watching the eagles fly over the valley, and listening to the owls at night. While we drank our coffee on the patio one morning we had the privilege of watching and listening to the clip-clop of 50 or so Amish horse carriages on their way to a wedding. We can tell the owners' take great pride in their cabin, because it is immaculate and well cared for!

Central to everything you’ll want to do

Loved the location and cleanliness. New appliances and dishwater, good towels also. Loved having a washer and dryer after hard outdoor days. You’ll need to bring your own laundry soap, bar soap and shampoo for shower. Also, the only spices were little packets of salt, pepper and sugar- so plan ahead. Nice grill and fire pit, so we cooked our own meals most of the time. Loved visiting the Amish farms for produce. Would definitely come back again.

Relaxing Stay

We loved our long weekend at the cabin. It felt very homey and comfortable, allowing us to relax for a few days. Very accommodating with a full kitchen and plenty of cut firewood!
