“We had a great long weekend in July 2025.PROS - Kitchen is great. Air conditioning is strong in the main room. Beds were comfortable, plenty of sleeping room. Main level master is plenty spacious. The 2 upstairs bedrooms have queen bunks - queen top and bottom. Bathrooms had body wash and shampoo. Plenty of towels were available. Indoor rocking chairs were comfy, along with the sectional. TV worked. Campfire pit was great. Canoe and kayaks had paddles and were available for free, which was……

“Was our first time here, It was nice, liked the cabin and the host was very nice. Fishing was good. No wash clothes but we had some.”

“We really enjoyed our stay at this property. It was clean and ready for us to settle in. There were plenty of bath towels, hand soap, dish soap, etc. The beds were comfortable and there were good amenities. Kitchen was well stocked. I'd recommend adding a cheese grater and measuring spoons though. :) There is a loft with 4 beds and a couple of couches. Great place for kids to hang. We loved the enclosed porch that faced the lake. Thanks! We'll be back!”

“Cowdry cabin and Hut worked perfectly for two couples getting away.The cabin to water proximity is perfect and flat.Plenty of and varied outdoor chairs to choose from and the lake is the show. Morning dancing dragonflies, loons and ducks, and spectacular sunsets.Cabin is charming and comfortable, plenty of space to spread out to read and relax or get together for meals and cards.I recommend to others looking for an Alexandria lake front stay. “House was great it was clean even better than pictures. Has more than 1 fridge which having more people is a plus. Yard was flat to lake so easy access to the lake. Chuck and Debbie were great at responding to anything we had questions about, and they were very flexible on dates that had changed.Definitely stay there again and will also tell friends and family about this so they can have the same great experience we did.”

“We enjoyed our stay. Decks are close to the water and a nice place to relax after a day on the water. Owners are attentive to any issues. Docks work great for a pontoon and fishing boat.”
