“9日間滞在しました。タオルの交換はありましたが部屋の掃除は1度もありませんでした。床に小さなごみが落ちたままになっていたり、浴室には髪の毛が落ちたままで、自分たちで取り除きました。 またタオル交換の時に偶然見たのですが、コーヒーカップは洗うことなく汚れたふきんで拭いているだけでした。 場所は便利ですが、長期滞在にはお勧めしません。 併設するレストランも、スタッフによっての対応が違い、差別的な感じを受けました。 フロントの対応は非常に良かったです。”

“Nice, simple, clean room in Benbecula, South Uist. The innkeeper was very welcoming and friendly. There is a nice hotel restaurant a short walk away from the Hebridian Stay. We would stay here again the next time we visit south/north Uist.”

“I booked a double bed room in June 2025, changed to double twin bed room in September 2025 with confirmation, and received a small double bed room. Ownership changed in February 2026, new owner told me not to received change of booking, stayed 9 days, received for 3 days extra room.”

“This is evidently a popular spot in the community, as we saw a bridal shower and a baby shower when we checked in! The restaurant is very nice, and although we only had drinks and desserts, they were very good. It was also helpful for our travel plans that they offer a continental breakfast starting at 5AM, and the full breakfast a bit later. The only two minimal things that would have been great would have been a fridge in the room, and being able to open the window a bit wider. Otherwise,……

“Fantastic B&B. The staff were lovely and couldn't have been more helpful. Breakfast was delicious with high quality home cooked dishes offered. The room was clean and spacious. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to anyone!”

“The hosts Alex and Katie are a young couple doing a great job running this small boutique hotel! It is is older building however it is well kept up and clean. The rooms are comfortable and provide all necessary amenities. The food in the restaurant is excellent. We would definitely stay here again!”

“This was a magical place to stay. I loved the standalone bath and the log burning stove. The views were incredible. I loved the touches of board games being available in the rooms and we enjoyed a game of Scrabble. The room felt like pure luxury and the taste in furniture and decor was impeccable - loved the tartan blanket company throw. We will definitely be back for a future special occasion!”

“This is no ordinary pod. It is beautifully presented with so much thought given to it's furnishing. I didn't expect to find a wine fridge or induction hob, but there they were. The towels are luxurious and the toiletries are classy. There are even pods provided for the Nespresso machine! The fridge is stocked with essentials, and even some non-essential treats. Just as importantly, I was given a proper warm welcome on arrival. I loved my stay here. PS The eggs were delicious.”
