"House and the overall property was very good with excellent views. Had good clean linen and towels. It would have been good if they had left few Kitchen paper rolls and had a dish washer installed. The main problem we faced was that the Jacuzzi never worked for the whole two days that we were at the property. While the host (Alex) was very responsive and tried to get it to work, it never worked, this was a big let down. "

"Great location in front of the park and easy walking to museums and shopping. Staff everywhere were wonderful and quick and responsive, except in the bar in the evening. The bar only had one server, who was very social, so we had to chase them for service and it was slow. Rooms are being renovated, but the most important areas were addressed - we had a lovely room overlooking the city with big windows. Comfy clean bed, hot water (which is a premium in Costa Rica as Tico's don't appreciate our northerners habit of taking hot showers). A relaxing, great stay overall."

"Was advertised with a balcony, but the room did not come with one. They moved us to a smaller room without even offering a partial refund. Staff was very unpleasant and rude, and the complementary breakfast consisted of rice and beans and fried plantains yuck the ice machine didn’t work on our floor. The safe did not work. The TV did not work until I fixed it. They were unable to send any staff up until the next morning. Horrible place stay away, not worth the money. The location was not great for that price at all."
