Situated atop Signal Hill Road, overlooking Cypress Point Golf Course, Fan Shell Beach and 17 Mile Drive, awaits the awe-inspiring panoramic ocean views of the Dunes House. We have access to walking trails, close proximity to the Lodge at Pebble Beach, Carmel by the Sea the Inn at Spanish Bay as well as Pacific Grove. This is a fantastic coastal site.

This graceful single level 3800 square foot ranch style home hosts six bedrooms and four baths. Four of our guest rooms have amazing ocean views, including the master with a king size bed and a trundle with two twins. Three additional double/double bedded rooms, one with a wood burning fireplace have the amazing ocean views as well. We have one additional room with a full size bed with views of the dunes at Spyglass Hill Golf Course and the other king bedroom has unparalleled views of Cypress Point Golf Club. Six bedrooms in total.

Beginning at the end of December, our property will be converting to a 30 + day rental. Should you desire to stay with us, please contact us with any questions. Guests wanting to stay 61 + days will receive a discount of 40% off.

The gate fees at the Pebble Beach gate must be paid by the guests, due to added stringent regulations at the gate. You may use the receipt toward any purchases made inside Pebble Beach.


We require the thread count of our linens to be a minimum of 500. We provide upgraded amenities for your enjoyment as well as complimentary FIJI waters in every guest room and free WIFI.

Enjoy the stone and hardwood floors, large open kitchen and dining room, as well as spacious patio for outdoor entertaining. So many activities are right at your front door; surfing, boogie boarding, walking, hiking, jogging, biking, golfing, tennis, wine tasting, fine dining, and shopping among so many others.

The property hosts a very large driveway.

A few other items to note:

*Coffee Maker is a Ninja Barista. It works as a drip coffee maker or Nespresso with a built in frother. It uses the original small pods. We provide you with a sleeve of pods and coffee as a starter for your stay.

*Outdoor barbecue is plumbed. No need to worry about propane tanks:)

*We do not provide wood for the indoor wood burning fireplaces.

Glorious setting

This meeting was a celebration of the live of our patriarch who turned 90. The family met, ate, slept and explored the area together and apart. It was perfect for that purpose.

Present with the Ocean

Got our moneys worth from the location alone. The property is surrounded by sand which allowed for fun activities with the kids. The beach was just down the street and we saw all sorts of wildlife. From the living room, we got a 10 minute show by some traveling whales just from out the shoreline. Both fireplaces were great and all was cozy.

A great getaway…..

The house was clean, a well supplied kitchen!prob a 1960’s home but we didn’t mind! Enjoyed the fire pit!! Beds were comfortable! If it was mine I would put safety bars in the Showers because old people still need to take showers too! There are stairs or steps within the house so you have to be careful

Great Locaton

Had a family reunion. This property is in a beautiful location. The home is spacious and clean with all needed accessories. Made use of the BBQ and had many great evenings around the fire pit. Loved our stay!!

Magnificient location-Great Stay

Location of this property is unparalleled and made our stay unforgettable. House is showing some age but all issues addressed promptly. Plenty of sleeping spaces and great kitchen. Only regret is that we were not able to utilize garage spaces. Would stay again in a heartbeat.

Surprise Birthday Weekend

Our family came together at Pebble Beach to celebrate a milestone birthday for my father in law. The house was perfect for us. We had dinners in the large dining room and hung out in the living room enjoying the gorgeous views. When the weather cooperated, we were at the outdoor dining table or at the firepit. The house had great parking, plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms. As mentioned in other reviews, it's kindof a throwback (in terms of design), but it's spacious and comfortable. I would not hesitate to go back. Jacci was a great host -- super responsive to any questions before and during our stay.

A beautiful weekend getaway for our family

We booked this house to cerebrate my mother's 80th birthday. We were a group of 12 with two babies under 2. Everyone had a comfortable room and access to bathrooms. The house is a little dated but the view and location makes this house very special. We gathered around the fire pit outside and loved our walk to the beach. The kitchen was super convenient. We had a great time and will book the house again.

Wow, what a spectacular view!

We had 3 families with kids ranging from 2 to 18. There were plenty of beds and wonderful open areas to gather in. Best of all, though, was the spectacular ocean view, especially at sunset. Easy walk to the beach was a plus, too. I'm not going to say this was a luxury property as it's pretty dated but we'd stay here again in a heartbeat!

Beautiful home with large floor to ceiling windows in living, family, & dining rooms overlooking Pacific Ocean on 17 Mile Drive adjacent to Cyprus Point Golf Course. Four of six bedrooms with expansive views of Pacific. Several different seating areas and large dining table. Wood burning fireplaces [2] were great to have on chilly mornings and evenings. Great location in between Pebble Beach Resort, Monterey Country Club and Spy Glass with easy access restaurants. Well equipped, sizable kitchen.

Beautiful location

The house is in dire need of updating. The bathrooms were gross, inadequate, embarrassing for guests to use. The beds were cheap, windows all sealed shut, no chance of getting the beautiful sounds and smells of the coast. It’s a cheap house in a wonderful location. A dormitory at best, or kindly put a beach house, not a luxury rental.

Lovely Home - Perfect Retro Home - Location is Divine!

We were in Pebble Beach for a family reunion/celebration of life for my parents. Several reviews have noted that the property felt dated and in need of updates. It didn't occur to me until we settled in how the space would feel and hold our memories with my parents. This was their era and we felt at home and with their spirits around us. So yes, it's dated, but it was the perfect backdrop for our group. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed, the rooms were beautifully appointed and we had everything we needed. Questions were answered promptly. Beautiful photography filled the house - beware of some nudes if you have kids/teenagers in your party. They are tasteful and gorgeous regardless. The views were spectacular - I don't think there's a better short term rental location along 17-mile drive. Worth every penny!

Great views

House is woefully in need of many minor repairs. Wall sockets in bedrooms need to be replaced. Most important issue is slippery bathtubs with no grab rails. One shower has see through window to outside. We had to hang a towel outside to block it. Another shower had no light, bulb needs replacing. House lighting system is puzzling…whenever anyone gets up at night the entire house lights up. Heating system is poorly designed with one bedroom getting all the heat. We loved the large gathering area in the living room. The bedding and towels were nice. But overall, I wouldn’t rent this property again.

The view is majestic

The view is what you are paying for, and it doesn't disappoint. Four of the bedrooms face the ocean, one has a good view of Cypress Point golf course and the last one faces the front garden (we used this one for the baby). The beds are all fresh, fluffy, and comfortable. The living room has a great view with large windows and there is plenty of seating in the dining room. The front door has been boarded up and the entrance is being worked on for some sort of remodeling, so you enter through the side door. There are many signs of wear and tear- most faucets, door handles, and the kitchen look like they may be as old as the house and did not work great. Jacci, the host, was super responsive and helpful for any problem we presented, which we limited to things that could be fixed or changed during the rental.

Family summer vacation in Carmel

We had an amazing time. I chose this home because of the location, the view the number of bedrooms and large living spaces. The location was perfect as we could walk to a nice sandy beach across the street and let the kids play in the water. It was a short drive to point Lobos for a wonderful morning hike. We went to the Monterey Bay aquarium another morning and Dennis the Menace Park, which was amazing for the small kids

Golf heaven lol

Such an amazing classic property nestled in the community of PB. Less than 10 min from every top course except if you want to play Pasatiempo (and it’s worth the drive). Working with the owners was seamless. All questions were answered immediately (literally, within minutes). We may make this a yearly boys trip and to this very home.

Perfect Carmel Stay

Jacci's beautiful home was perfect for our large group. Everyone was comfortable and had enough space to spread out. The kitchen was well equipped and the bathrooms were all large which made getting ready to go out much easier for a big group. The view and location are unbeatable--close to town and in the heart of 17 mile drive-- and the photos of the house itself don't do it justice. It truly felt like a vacation. Jacci was also incredibly helpful and responsive to questions in the run up to our stay as we were making plans.

What a special place...

It's hard to believe you are able to rent this property in such a truly unique setting. The layout of the home and views are perfect for a group gathering. The location is 10/10. House is old, but extremely clean and has everything you need. Would highly, highly recommend.

Monterey Family Oasis

This property was perfect for our large family gathering. Built in the mid 50’s the home exudes California rambler charm and appeal. The fantastic views and great kitchen made family cooking a joy. There are plenty of wonderful spaces, from the cozy living room to the large outdoor fire pit, perfect for family discussions with magnificent views of the Pacific.It's just a short walk down the street to the beach and a quick drive to Carmel or Monterey. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely return!
