That said, the property is well maintained, clean and friendly staff. We were surprised that there wasn't a coffee maker in the room so we made do with the microwave and instant coffee (we always bring). It is right off the highway so easy access on and off. When we got it closed we noticed it was all beat up on the inside and paint peeling. Then we had to have our parkas on for 2 hours while we warmed up the room enough to get our jackets off. Bathroom floor looked clean but was sticky and the tub was old and had cracks along the sealant...needless to say we didn't use it on our overnight stay. The next morning we went for breakfast, which we were looking forward to before our drive as we have stayed at a Red Lion before.
