First let me say that the main problem possibly was with the vrbo interface vs the owner - however, we were never able to access the unit, and the owner is not responding to my request for a refund. I never received access info before checkin time from the owner, and despite calls with 2 vrbo customer service agents, who said they would contact the owner - no response. Finally I ended up getting a much more expensive hotel. Eventually at 10:11pm I got access info from the owner - 6 hours and 11 minutes after checkin time. Too late! I requested a refund from the owner, who never replied, and then talked with 3 vrbo agents. The last one finally escalated my case, but I have heard nothing so far. It is now 5 days since our planned stay - with me out a whole lot of money, and nobody seeming to view this as their problem. I have used vrbo other times with perfect outcomes, but this time was a disaster. I would be very hesitant to ever use vrbo again.
I was required to fill in all responses, but in fact I have no opinion on cleanliness of unit or accuracy of listing, never having seen it.
