“There is no other place in Texas I would rather be for a quick getaway than at the Lancaster Manor with Mrs. Connie and Mr. John. The French Room is home away from home, and at this visit, I had the eggs bennie instead of my usual Texas pancakes. YUM! Booking for stay #7 in June for my sister's birthday.”

“The house itself was more than adequate for our purposes. The location was awesome. There was one big surprise. That was the attached back apartment. The three small children were precious and the mom was very nice. It’s just that this was not mentioned. We will certainly consider staying there again.”

“The property suited our needs for the trip. There was a minor housekeeping issue they remedied in reasonable time. There was another issue that couldn't be address due to communication not being specific on their end. The text communication was quick but not always accurate. I was notified after booking was already confirmed that there was construction on premises and please excuse some "dust" but the maintenance being done was unfortunately disruptive to each morning & two nights of major……

“Overall, good stay. Things that have been noted in previous reviews have been remedied. Beds were comfy. Had everything we needed inside and it was clean indoors. The reason we stay in VRBOs is for the outdoor space that you don’t have in a hotel. That said, the outdoor space could use some attention. There was a lot of random trash laying around, patio furniture needs attention and the pool hadn’t seen chlorine in a long while (granted it was cold out and we didn’t swim but still not……
