"Overall, it was a pretty good stay. The room seemed to be clean, and the bed was very comfortable. The chairs (chaise) in the room were somewhat clean and comfortable. Breakfast was good, and the lady working the breakfast room was very attentive. Coffee was good. The lavatory, bathtub, and toilet were all extremely slow to drain on our first night and Saturday morning. I mentioned it to the lady working the front desk when we were leaving for the day, and she said she would pass it along to maintenance. Apparently she did because Saturday night and yesterday morning had better results. The bathroom did not have a vent. The room did not have a printed TV channel listing, and trying to find it on the smart TV itself was like trying to find a ball in tall weeds; so, we gave up and found a channel or two and stuck with them. We have DishTV at home, so figured finding a channel listing would be simple, but it wasn't. The room was noisy during the night from outside traffic; we could not tell if it was from the interstate or local streets, but you could sure hear it. And, there were little things, like a loose hanger on the back of the bathroom door and a loose toilet paper rack; those things seem like they could be simple fixes by maintenance."

"We loved our stay here. The place is really clean and nice. You can tell the owners take pride in the property and want it to feel like a home away from home. Fantastic fluffy towels that smelled amazing, comfortable beds, night lights, etc. little things make a place feel more welcoming. We had a wonderful girl’s weekend and would definitely stay here again!"

"We stayed here for our honeymoon and it was the perfect escape from reality. From the moment we walked in, we could tell how much care goes into this cabin. Everything was spotless, welcoming, and so thoughtfully prepared for us.The views are incredible. We loved starting our mornings looking out the windows from the bed or sitting on the patio with coffee. Our afternoons were spent exploring and hiking nearby, and our evenings were shared under the stars relaxing in the hot tub. The copper tub even had us joking about doing a bathroom remodel at home!Our almost 11-year-old border collie, Tux, felt right at home too. We set his bed up in front of the fireplace and he happily kept watch over us and joined in on our little adventures.Thank you a million times over for such an amazing stay and memories that will last a lifetime. "The cabin was perfect. Totally secluded and delivered everything that was promised. The outside enclosed porch overlooking the river transcended you. The roar was loud and calming at the se time. It was worth the drive amd cant wait to go back."
