"Host was very welcoming. He provided directions, walked us through door locks, tv controls, etc., and was quite hospitable. The cottage was wonderful. The open concept downstairs, with the large windows, was beautiful and a great place to spend time. The upstairs loft area was a perfect place for our young boys to play but still be close by. Overall the best part, by far, of the stay was the location, with DeSoto Falls only being a couple of minutes away. We walked there every day to spend time by the waterfall, it was amazing. "

"What a lovely place to stay! My large family goes to Mentone every Thanksgiving but this year my husband and I wanted a private place to really get away from it all and this gorgeous location really hit the mark. It has all the amenities you could possibly need but if you are a streaming junkie like we are I’d bring your Roku stick. The beds are great, the couch is comfy, the kitchen is fully outfitted, the water pressure is just right and the jacuzzi was delightful! Nothing like cold weather all around you while you stay warm in the jacuzzi! We also saw so much wildlife while we were there and that truly just made it all perfect. We hope to rent again ASAP!"
