“Dixieland Delight is a great place to stay. The cabin’s descriptions and pictures really didn’t do it justice. Our host had everything we need for our family trip at the cabin. The check-in process was great annd our host checked in with us during our stay to make sure we had everything we needed while we were there. The cabin was lovely and clean. We had everything we needed to make this a memorable time with our family.”

“Everything was just as described and beautiful! We loved all the small amenities (USB power chargers by the beds, coffee pods, extra blankets, firewood, corn hole, etc...). It was a beautiful place and we had a great time! Our family of 5 had plenty of space. We loved the nearness to downtown Mentone, Desoto State Park, and other hiking spots. Hosts were helpful and communicative. Instructions were very clear and easy to follow.”

“Very disappointed. Here's our experience in detail:1. Exterior is filthy, spider/cob webs all over exterior building. Nothing is clean as the picture portrays.2. Entrance is covered in cobwebs and bird poop on the handrail, door frame, side wall, and outside light. A great welcoming "first" impression.3. Living room and bedroom ceiling fans great you with an "inch" of dust on all fan blades and dust bunnies hanging down from both light and fan pull chains.4. The back patio is very dirty. Dirty...

“The perfect place to stay.”

“Property was easy to find and checkin a breeze. Communications with the host were easy. The kitchen had very basic supplies. I would suggest a sponge for cleanup. There were a large ammount of ladybird beetles in the home. I am not sure how they got in. I would suggest some additional pillows as the one there are few and thin. Overall a good experience. An 8/10 ”

“My niece and i live 5 hours apart so we decided to meet halfway in Mentone to visit before she moved to Maryland. Easy directions, great location, short distance to Mentone and Desoto State Park. We loved the cabin! Very beautifully decorated and stocked with everything needed. The bed and couch were very comfortable for sleeping, plenty of room for 2 people. Kitchen well stocked for cooking. Even tried the "Instant Pot"! Nice sized porch. My niece and i hung out there for hours chatting and...
