“We enjoyed the fully stocked kitchen, fire pit, ample firewood provided, and the spacious home. The upstairs consisted of a bedroom and newly renovated master bathroom. On the main level were two bedrooms (one with a double bed plus a door to the back porch) and one with two sets of bunk beds. The main floor had one bathroom on the same hallways as the bedrooms, a well stocked laundry room, kitchen and great room. Easy access to Mentone and the various state parks nearby. Great communication……

“This VRBO property was an excellent choice for our stay. The cabin is very secluded and offers a peaceful, mountain-retreat atmosphere, while still being conveniently located near downtown. It was a bit difficult to find in the dark, but once located, it proved to be well worth the effort.The property is well-suited for both couples and larger groups. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed, and there was an ample supply of firewood for the fire pit, which we greatly……

“Everything was just as described and beautiful! We loved all the small amenities (USB power chargers by the beds, coffee pods, extra blankets, firewood, corn hole, etc...). It was a beautiful place and we had a great time! Our family of 5 had plenty of space. We loved the nearness to downtown Mentone, Desoto State Park, and other hiking spots. Hosts were helpful and communicative. Instructions were very clear and easy to follow.”

“Very disappointed. Here's our experience in detail:1. Exterior is filthy, spider/cob webs all over exterior building. Nothing is clean as the picture portrays.2. Entrance is covered in cobwebs and bird poop on the handrail, door frame, side wall, and outside light. A great welcoming "first" impression.3. Living room and bedroom ceiling fans great you with an "inch" of dust on all fan blades and dust bunnies hanging down from both light and fan pull chains.4. The back patio is very dirty. Dirty……

“Property was easy to find and checkin a breeze. Communications with the host were easy. The kitchen had very basic supplies. I would suggest a sponge for cleanup. There were a large ammount of ladybird beetles in the home. I am not sure how they got in. I would suggest some additional pillows as the one there are few and thin. Overall a good experience. An 8/10 ”
