"Excellent property for our family reunion. So many activities right on the property for our children and grandchildren to enjoy. Unfortunately the water in the river was pretty low so only our "lightweights" were able to enjoy the kayaks. We loved the many areas for visiting and used them all. The kitchen was supplied with everything we needed. We saw wild turkeys and deer every day. Wonderful memories!"

"Laura, the manager, was incredibly accommodating and welcoming. She truly embodied that classic Western hospitality you don’t come across every day. The hotel was clean, cozy, and had a homey charm that made it feel like a peaceful and welcoming place to land in the mountains of Idaho City. I’d absolutely stay again. I only stayed for the night, but I wish I had stayed longer to check out all the neat western stores and restaurants in walking distance. Great stay! "
