Book Plessis Bed & Breakfast

"I didn't use the ac since it's cold still outside but the heat worked well. Price is good and the hotel manager basically leaves ya alone which is nice after such a stressful day. Only complaint I have is the pet fee. My dogs r ESA certified so the fee should be waived and they r both under 5 lbs so I think the fee should be waived anyway. but I have paid a fee several times now. The toilet handle broke at 4am this morning also but owner said he could have it fixed before I get back there tonight. "

"The only thing I would like to see is maybe a microwave in the room or availability to use one. Also maybe some fruit for the breakfast grab and go. Very clean and staff very friendly. Food in the restaurant was excellent."

"Our stay was not in season so a lot was closed for winter. The properties restaurants and bar were closed. We did find a a little corner pizza place that was open to get dinner. As far as the property. It was just ok. With some updating it would be a nicer stay. Our room was clean. And it was very quiet which was nice due to the time frame that we stayed. We reserved a king room with a jetted tub. The tub was huge and worked great! The tv was a little small and the stand was broken so we couldn’t raise the tv up to see it better. But Im a stickler about a clean room and it definitely was that. We did stay in a different building than where the pool was located so we did have to either walk or drive to the building. We chose to drive over, it was just to cold to walk. The jacuzzi was clean and they had bathrooms for us to change before heading back which was good. The next morning they had a continental breakfast which we enjoyed. A little bit of everything to choose from. Easy checkout. Overall stay there. Was good. "

"The motel is placed at a good place, there is a good amount of stores & food places nearby. The motel itself is pretty clean and we didnt have issues with anything"

"For the most part, our stay was fine, but, bless me, the shower temperature was a hot mess! Every 4 seconds (I counted!), the water temp cycled from dangerously scalding to downright cold. Every. Four. Seconds. And it wasn’t some random issue in our room. We spoke with another guest and they said they experienced the same thing. It was almost rage-inducing. The one other issue we had was that, although there ended up being several inches of snow covering a sheet of ice on the sidewalks, the sidewalks were neither shoveled nor salted. At least out the back entrance. Those two issues notwithstanding, Candlewood was fine. It was quiet, common spaces and our room were clean, they allow pets, and there is a Walmart (and other stores) about a 5 minute walk from the lobby. But would we stay again? Probably not, simply because of the shower. If we knew the shower issue was fixed, then yes. But otherwise, no. "
