“This was absolutely the best family vacation we have had! Tracey and Neal were fantastic in meeting all our needs in a casual friendly manner. We had children and grandchildren coming from different countries, total of 11. The house is so beautiful and spacious and all the gathering areas near the pool, family room and outside made it so comfortable. The meals were exceptional and so generous. “We are a group of 4 Guys that enjoy Sea Fishing, Good Food and fun nightlife. Hoe Park House was perfect, it comfortably sleeps 8 people, there’s a lovely Kitchen and Dining Area too. The Bedrooms are large and very comfortable, all three Bathrooms were luxurious and beautifully fitted out. Our Host kept us informed of upcoming events in the local area and was only a WhatsApp away if we needed anything. 2 mins walk to the Centre of everything we needed, we will certainly recommend to friends……

The cottage stay was great in every way with the host Kaz going the extra mile to help make the stay enjoyable, even giving paddle boarding help, coming many miles when the local instructor was injured. Thanks Kaz. The location is ideal for safe paddle boarding and canoeing with the cottage having two canoes for free use. The cottage had many good amenities and was very comfortable. “We had a great few days away celebrating our sons 10th Birthday in Bluebell Pod other family members stayed in the Buttercup Pod the children had a safe space to play and loved the hot tubs. The pods were amazingly well equipped and clean the only thing to be aware of is that Bluebell pod has shorter length bunk beds which could be a problem for older children. Would highly recommend!”

“Whilst the advert said it had recently been refurbished, it has been, but to a basic standard. Only drawer space in 1 out of 4 bedrooms, very wobbly hanging clothes racks. No bedside lamps in 1 of bedroom as there was only 1 electrical socket on the opposite side of the room. The one and only wardrobe was smashed in and broken. The bedrooms had no chairs or hooks to put anything on. Poor quality dining furniture with very flimsy chairs and if 8 people were staying in the accomodation there would……

“Had a nice stay at this property, the neighbours are quiet, the house is well equipped with everything you need for cooking / cleaning and very close to free parking (which is a pain to find or far away from where you are in Plymouth sometimes) and the host was very helpful with problems. The listing does not mention a train track at the end of the back garden or the bus stop out the front of the house which can be noisy at times. The beds were also a little uncomfy, but other than that it was……

“We are 8 friends who travelled to Plymouth for the National Fireworks Comp. We stayed three nights. Iain was great and easy to contact and helpful. The house was in the perfect location and everything we wanted to explore was with walking distance. We liked the house, it was very light and airy and spacious enough for all of us. All the bedrooms were a good size. The main bedroom with ensuite was spot on but the second bathroom seriously needs attention, it was very tired and was not good to……

“Lovely property and Martin the host was very welcoming and helpful upon our arrival. The property is in a great location for Plymouth City Centre being a 10 minute walk. Great to have a parking space right outside the property, but it would be a very tight fit if the other two car spaces are full. I drive a mini and it was tight getting through the gate as well. There were only two mugs in the cupboard and three bowls so although the kitchen is well equipped it could do with a bit of extra……

“The property is in a good location but there is no car park available around, the designated car park communicated on the adjacent street was always occupied and therefore it should be advertise as no parking options. We drove around looking for space every evening, free parking advertised is misleading. The accommodation was very clean and well presented.”

“Great location, quirky historic property, helpful owner, has parking only a few minutes away from property which is great but can be difficult to get to if you don’t know plymouth, something to be aware of the property does have lots of stairs.”

“The house was nice, clean and comfortable. However, a few important things things were not adequately supplied, eg only one toilet roll was supplied for a family of three for one week and there were no kitchen rolls. Also only one mirror in the entire property located in the Master bedroom. The toilet seat needs fixing because it keeps sliding off while one is sitting on it.”

“We had the best time onboard, we are a family of 5 staying 4 nights, there was plenty of room and the cleanliness and facilities were outstanding, glen and Emma are so lovely and brought fresh bottles of water, milk, bread. The kids loved the cereal selection and I adored the nespresso every morning on the quiet deck. The weather wasn't great but that didn't matter, it was a short walk to catch the ferry to the Barbican and from there we visited mount edgecombe and went on boat tours. The bridge……

“Superb, clean apartment, was concerned about parking, but had nothing to worry about. Woukd definitely stay here again. ”

“Overall experience is nice. We stayed in room 5 for 3 nights. It would be feel better if the walls refurbish, replace the old boiler and unusable cooking pan and pot. Also, the exhaust fan In the bathroom should be clean regularly. All the staffs are very nice and helpful.”
