“Love the rooms. Great place to stay with family. Love the 2 pools. So close to the beach and Port A Pizza! The only problem we had was the Wi-Fi. The TV wouldn’t work,phones or tablets for the kids to use at night after a long day at the beach. I get it that the Wi-Fi is spotty on the island. But,everywhere else we were we had Wi-Fi. Even sitting on the beach with my toes in the sand I got signal! But not in our room. No TV,tablets or phones,at night when you’re winding down after a long day was……

“The room was great, very clean and roomy. Beds are a little hard but ok.”

“Excellent location by the water, a city park across street good for taking a walk, a lot of restaurants around, less than 10 min driving to the miles of beach at the south side. Hotel room is very spacious and clean, will come back if I visit Port Aransas again.”

“You get what you pay for! Rooms sleep 5-6 with a fold out couch. Sturdy outdoor chairs outside door. Thin walls if you have noisy neighbors.”

“We had an awful stay at Captain Quarters. Upon arrival, our room was not clean and there was sand in the bedding. The building is run down and not at all sound proof- we could hear every person that passed through the stairwell next to our room all day and night. The plumbing made a hissing sound throughout the building, and we heard it repeatedly as people showered. The worst part of our stay though was the heat. During our three day stay, our room never cooled down - even with the thermostat……

“This was the perfect little place for our stay while in Port A! Very nice and comfortable place. The a/c worked great. The bed was super comfortable. Condo was nicely decorated and super clean! Also having 2 spots for parking was great because we did get a golf cart! The couch bed definitely needs new mattress. We bought an egg crate topper and that helped a little, lol! We made it work. Great vacation.”

“Matthew was an incredible host, he was so helpful with the entire process, from booking to the very end when we had to check out. He showed us some really cool fishing spots, encouraged us to have an amazing time and was just overall so accommodating and friendly. We will definitely be back and book with sea and sand cottages. The cottage was very clean, we loved the decor, and the beds were very comfy and perfect for a family of 4. Overall just a wonderful experience and so close to the beach……
