"Fantastic property, in a beautiful setting. Whilst the owners are on site, you don't see them and it feels that you are the only ones there. The pool area is perfect and the cover which is over half the pool makes a nice break from the sun (whilst there temperatures were around 40ºC) so the shade was very much appreciated.The walks around for dog in the morning were lovely, although a fair amount of road walking but traffic was very rare."

"The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. It was just a short drive to Chatellerault. Difficult to access. Apparently the reception does not open till 5 on a Friday. We understood it opened at 12 every day. Also when we removed the plug to let out a basin of water it flowed all over the floor underneath the basin. There was no air conditioning so it was very hot."

"Nice hotel, for me the location was great. Clean room, dark and quiet at night. Restaurant was nice, had a good dinner. My dog found it very nice, he had easy outdoor access from our room. All in all, great for the price."
