The views here are fantastic, and waking up the sunrise on the horizon is a sight to remember. It rained more than it didn't (late June), gale force winds most of the time (who needs AC?), and the lanai was basically never really dry, but you grab moments of sunshine when you can! Check-in was very smooth, and advance communication was very thorough. The unit itself is simple but thoughtfully appointed. The living room and the bed are comfortable, and there is ample closet and dresser space. The bathroom is very tight, so just keep that in mind. The kitchen is well-stocked with pots, pans, and spices, except there is no coffee grinder (we had coffee beans ground at Outpost Coffee in Hanalei). There is a speaker system in the living room with bluetooth, and the washer and dryer were very handy. The Sealodge complex itself is lovely. Some folks complain about its aging, but there's a charm to it. Walking around the property at sunset with a glass of wine was a highlight (there's an incredible bench between E & D buildings on the bluff). Parking is ample, trash bins are conveniently located, and it's a quick hop to Foodland and Hanalei, or Kilauea in the other direction. Splurge on one dinner at 1 Hotel Hanalei Bay. With the unit on the 3rd floor walk-up, it's best for the able-bodied, but we found it well-worth the view and not having anyone above us. Would recommend this unit! ##### Jeff T. It is incredible! Sunrises in the morning are amazing. The neighborhood, Princeville, is a plan community with lots of pretty homes, a golf course, and is about 10 minutes away from Hanalei, Which is another great town. Pro Tip: There is a Hidden beach if you take the trail near the property. It’s about a five minute walk and you find yourself on a small secluded beach, which has reefs for snorkeling and beautiful scenery. Feels like being on Gilligans Island! ##### Taylor S. The view could not have been more beautiful—I could not stop looking out the large windows at the vast ocean outside. We enjoyed it so much, in fact, that a few nights we decided just to stay in and eat dinner on the porch so we could enjoy the view. The condo itself was perfect in my opinion. It had a touch of island flair, while having all the necessities for a good trip—clean, comfy bed, good closet space with plenty of hangers, a stocked kitchen, an in-unit washer and dryer, and again, did I mention the view?!! Sealodge is also in a quiet area of Princeville, at the end of a road and on a bluff overlooking the ocean. Just stunning. The property was clean and well cared-for. We had arrived at night; waking up to the sunrise (the bedroom has a large east-facing window) instantly put us in happy holiday mode. The condos were very quiet, the location was great for getting to North-shore hikes and beaches, and the third-story view is good value for money. We appreciated being provided with items that made our day-tripping easier, such as coolers and lawn chairs. \[We we stymied when we had to dry swimsuits and towels (condo rules state no towels on railings, yet there are no drying racks inside). It was breath taking ! We also loved Princeville and that side of the island. The views are unreal- we woke up to the sunrise over the cliffs every morning, and enjoyed coffee and drinks on the lanai almost very night. Not only are the views beautiful- they aren’t blocked by any buildings, and you can even see the Kileaua lighthouse from the lanai - but they come with refreshing ocean breezes when you have the windows open. The unit was very private, well-stocked (we cooked most of our meals) and a perfect amount of space for two people. The area is great- you are only five minutes away (by car) to a grocery store, the North Shore shuttle, and some really delicious but down to earth places to eat. We couldn’t recommend this more - especially for all those honeymooners on Hawaii. We’re already looking forward to coming back! ##### Ema B. The condo was clean and we had everything we needed although we would have liked sand chairs for the beach instead of the taller canvas type chairs. Condo was close to Princeville marketplace and only a short drive to Hanalei. We would stay again! Will miss waking up to the sunrise and the roosters announcing the day😀 ##### Beth D. Great location, reasonably priced, helpful host, and well-stocked 3rd-floor unit with incredible ocean views from the balcony and out of the large windows in bedroom and living room. We didn’t go to the pool (which was small) or beach (trail was muddy when it rained) at Sealodge because there are so many other places to check out on the island (Hanalei Bay beach was great!)
