"I’m writing this review because the reviews were a big part of my decision making on my vacation . I am so glad I decided on Sugar Bay ! When we arrived, we were welcomed with open arms and a nice cold beer Natalie at the reception was absolutely amazing. She explained everything to us regarding the hotel and then a wonderful gentleman I believe his name was Dave showed that to our room and just explained a few details. The room was nicely decorated and very clean. We had a balcony overlooking the ocean the view was stunning. The beach it’s absolutely beautiful. There are plenty of chairs and umbrellas on the beach .The Reef bar was right on the beach which serves delicious frozen drinks and had amazing bartenders Re-Shawn , Damion and Xavier to name a few . The fruit kabobs serves on the beach was a nice treat. The pool was nice with a swim up bar but we spent most of our time at the beach .The buffet breakfast,lunch and dinner were served in the Reef restaurant. There was a wide selection of food I personally I think there was something for everyone. There are three restaurants and during your stay you can have one dinner at the one of your choice . We chose Sizzle steakhouse where I ate one of the best steaks I ever had. There was also great nightly entertainment . The entire staff was fantastic ! There was always someone to help you with anything needed. We felt really safe at this resort with all the security walking around .If you are looking for a fun yet ver"

"Quiet private and clean"

"Indigo hotel is a new hotel in good location. Access to Brownes beach(the most beautiful beach in Barbados IMO) is one short reg bus away/or taxi. TV has Netflix app(you need to login yourself) and bed was huge, felt like super king size. We were given corner 4th floor which offered amazing view. Room was spacious & modern design. Infinity pool on ground floor and another pool on rooftop were enjoyable. Food-wise, pizza & taco were yummy and not too expensive. Breakfast buffet was not worth 42 USD, although nothing wrong - just needed more variety. Additional price for coffee was unnecessary. For breakfast, Blush cafe and Artsplash in walking distance were better options. All in all, worth money and happy to revisit when we come back to Barbados."

"As a business traveler, this hotel was great. It had everything I needed, even though I did not get time to use the gym and pool. It is well-located (across the street from the beach) so that you can walk to the boardwalk and some really good restaurants (Big up Salt Cafe for crusted fish, Tapas for the view, Coco's breakfast if you want to feel like you are on vacation) or towards Bridgetown - 2.5 kms - if you are not easily frightened by cars zipping by while sidewalks disappear and reappear. Also close to the quirky museum with Rihanna's umbrella. I found it expensive - for example, 35 usd for breakfast buffet - but frankly most things were expensive in the tourist economy at the tail end of the high season. It was really handy for me that the hotel has a taxi desk in the lobby with very cheerful drivers ready to meet your needs."

"From the moment we walked into the property, we knew we had chosen the right one.The owner had covered every single detailThe property was sparkling clean, the kitchen was so well equipped . We ate dinner in a few times . There was nothing we didn’t have. Fantastic cooker/oven. Outside bbq. Plenty of pots/pans cutlery etc. coffee machine etc. huge fridge freezerAll 3 bedrooms were a great size all with en-suite and walk in wardrobes. Great big showers and bathroom areas with an additional seperate toilet / utility with 2 big washing machines which I used so we only took clean clothes home. Fantastic open plan kitchen/ dining/ living area that extended out to a huge beautiful patio with dining and comfy seating area tooBeautiful clean pool and amazing pickle ball court which we had lots of fun usingThe lovely Chris who met us to check in was waiting for us to show us around and answer question/ be on hand if we needed any advice . The owner was fantastic communicating everything to us. I asked advice on a few things pre holiday and he replied promptly each time . He gave clear instructions on everything about the property pre holiday too so that getting in/ out of doors/gates was smooth. There are NO negatives about this villa It’s situated in a great spot right near beaches one which you can watch the horses bathe in if you get up early enough to see. Its a treat!!!I would so stay here again. There were 6 of us and we were all sad to leave so thank you "
