"What a beautiful property! Communication with the owner was fantastic. We rented the three casitas on the property and all were perfect for our group. The grounds and pool were immaculate. The wildlife was abundant with sloths, parrots, toucans, capuchin monkeys, howlers and more. Cesar and Maribel were there for all of our needs and made us feel safe. Would highly recommend for sure!"

"The room was very clean and comfortable. However, it would have been nice to have a refrigerator and also an air conditioner since it can get very warm and the ceiling fan alone does not cool the room down. The staff and owners are super friendly and very attentive. We left very early in the morning and the lady working in the kitchen (I believe her name was Gira) offered to prepare us some sandwiches, which super nice of her. One negative was that things do not dry since its super humid outside...

"We were genuinely sad we only had one night to stay at Banana Azul! Check in was quick and efficient and friendly. The fresh coconut was a lovely treat. The Howler Suite was charming and the view magical. The food in the restaurant was delicious. "The place is 200 m from Playa Chiquita entrance (cars can only go about 100 m, then it's end road and you have to walk anyway). They have a nice restaurant inside the property with really good food and you can avoid the crowds in town. Excellent place to rest and the staff is super kind."

"Front desk lied to us when we tried to check in. Said they had never heard of Hotels.com nor Expedia. Said they had no rooms even though we had a confirmation and pre paid receipt from Hotels.com. I contacted Hotels.com and they contacted the hotel. Miraculously, the front desk remembered Hotels.com ! Front desk told the Hotels.com agent that the new agreement had not been signed yet...."
