"So the place in general is beautiful. The view is amazing, and the pool area is very nice. This is an all inclusive hotel…..the food is horrible though. We had to go eat out for dinner just because we couldn’t with the food. No variety, and it was just not good at all. We went with our toddler and there was no kid appropriate food, we saw some other kids just eat plain rice and they were complaining too. Breakfast was “ok” but we didn’t even stay for lunch, it was not worth it for us. Staff was nice though, but unless you’re okay with a very limited menu I would not recommend coming here. Only the view is worth it. "

The chairs on the balcony had a netting that was falling apart, they replaced it with a steel chair, that wobbled. The door you had to pull rather hard for it to shut properly. People would leave their room service plate outside their door. It would last about a day to a day and a half. Now the breakfast that was included used powdered eggs, the sausage was dry, the rice was hard. When all said and done they did give us a ride to the airport. "

"If we had booked through the hotel directly we could have got free breakfast (I think it was $25 each). Also might have got a balcony but the room was fine. At the edge of Jaco so we had a short taxi or Uber ride to get into town - about $4! Although I don't use the casino another guest commented that there was no way to get money! No ATM in the hotel. Nearest is in the center of Jaco. Tried various restaurants. Pool bar was very good - a bit slow but very nice waiters. Pools are lovely though a bit too warm. Very helpful concierge booking and changing tours. Thank you Aura."
