“Cabin was cozy and warm with the nice propane heater. Firepit and grill were great, creek was really nice. Wifi went out a couple times, shower was great, but a bit clunky to use.”

“The house and grounds, views and hosts were absolutely perfect. Everything was better than the listing, the beds were amazing, the view is spectacular and hosts were attentive, quick with an answer and thoughtful. The house was immaculately clean, incredibly spacious and comfortable, the kitchen was super well stocked, even the knives were sharp. The location is unbeatable, close enough to Boone for restaurants and grocery stores but truly secluded that you can’t see other houses from the……

“Weather was VERY cold during our stay! But the gas log heater inside the dome greeted us warmly and did a wonderful job of keeping us comfortable inside. We cooked our meals outside on the blacktop grill and ate on the deck admiring the creek and woods surrounding us. With below freezing highs and lows in the low teens, for a last minute get out of the city dose of nature it was a lazy relaxing trip, but would love to experience again in slightly warmer temps. Host, Paul, was very responsive……

“This was a wonderful place to stay. Although it is off-grid it does have a mini fridge, A/C and a normal toilet (the toilet is located in it's own building attached to the main bedroom but is private and not inconvenient at all). The VRBO is on the owners land but is still secluded and very peaceful. We did not see anyone else while we were there and it definitely felt like we had the place to ourselves.At night we watched the fireflies and the the stars. Such a perfect spot to unwind.
