“Staff service was hit or miss. When I booked, Expedia notes sheet change, fresh towel, and house keeping is upon request. So when I arrived, I asked. Front desk person would not give me straight answer. She said ask the cleaning person (what???). I asked what if I don't catch the person. She said ask front desk. My husband asked for change of room because he didn't like the view from the room. She said rooms will be available tomorrow. I asked the next day. A different front desk……

“Thankfully the person in the room next to us was very quiet as the walls were thin, but otherwise it was a perfect location and lovely.”

“Loved it very much, My friend and I arrived very late in the night, thought it could be a issue to clock-in, while they left us the key in envelope which ensure us to enter the room. The staff are super friendly and nice, the rooms are clean, I would definately recommend this place”

“Nice room we had a king size bed with a Lake view. The bathroom did not have an exhaust fan which I would have liked but very nice and clean and we had a nice view of Lake Superior. The breakfast was good.”

“We only stayed one night because we were passing through. We were upgraded from a cabin to the lake house for no charge because of a booking conflict, so that was very good for us ! Lake house was very roomy , and had lots of character. Some antique furnishings , a full kitchen and laundry, and even two tubs of locally made ice cream in the freezer ! Mainfloor washroom was way too far away away from the bedrooms for our liking , but that would be our only complaint.”
