“Definitely not the best stay I’ve had at any motel/hotel. The property was pretty run down and the room itself was really dusty. There was this door mat that was not held down by anything like a carpet runner and slid around whenever walked on. I rolled it up and tossed it aside because it was dangerous. The heat was difficult to turn up, you had to press really hard and like wiggle your finger around, but to turn it down it was easy. The plug situation was weird. Not really close to the bed but……

“Nice cottage with an amazing view of the ocean. The nearby beaches are great too and it is only a 15 minute ride to town, where you can get groceries. Only complaint is that it is need of some minor renovations in the kitchen and bathrooms.”

“all around great place to stay”

“Monica and her husband were absolutely wonderful hosts! Their communication and details were very descriptive right from the start of our reservation. When we arrived they treated us and showed us to our studio. They were very welcoming! Once inside the studio we noticed how cleaned and well equipped it was. With a tub to die for. Just wish we had more time so that we could enjoy it 😉 The bed was comfortable and the treats were a nice addition! In the morning we were served an amazing……

“beautiful spot for a getaway”

“Where do I start. Perfect accommodations for our family. The best supplied kitchen I have ever stayed at. Comfortable beds and furniture. Love the outdoor fire pit area and especially the screened in patio which is perfect for rainy days. The area is ATV friendly also.”

“Beautiful. Very clean and well stocked vacation rental. Two flights of stairs to the bedrooms from entry way. Check-in/ check-out process was easy. Host was responsive and communicative. Everything was in working order. Was an amazing home base for our group of 7 women exploring Nova Scotia for the week. Highly recommend.”

“Paradise on Ponhook was a beautiful, clean place for excellent family time with our family of eight. Everyone had enough space to stretch out and be alone when they needed, and plenty of space to all be together. The house is a few steps from the lake, and we used the paddle boards and the kayaks almost every day. Scott, our host, communicated well, and left a comprehensive house booklet. The kitchen was well stocked with no separation from the living area. We even saw a parade of chickens in……
