"The place was in a lovely setting with a fishable creek across the road, great for us 4 trout fishermen. It was spotless, comfy, and easy to use for prepping meals. You do need to be active to climb up and down all the steps to get in and out, but it was good exercise for 4 aging seniors. And Terri was a very helpful and communicative host."

"This was one of the best places I've ever stayed. It was like a brand new home. It was spotless clean, has a huge shower, huge rooms, and great beds. It's basically across the street and a 100 feet down from Back of the Dragon brewery. You pour your own beer, any amount you want, and pay by the ounce, so you can sample as many as you like. They also have food. There are several excellent restaurants right up the street. Beth was great at communicating check-in and check-out instructions and both were easy. I would absolutely recommend the Traveler for anyone coming to Tazewell for any reason, and I will be coming back."
