Its a decent hotel considering the cost. Somewhat close to RFD and there are public transportations nearby. For most of the time I stayed, I had to interact with the digital staff. They were helpful. The shower works kinda weird and the tub was a bit dirty and slippery.
Few dining spots nearby especially after dark.
I was a little nervous because of the reviews, but for this price point, it was a really nice place. It was clean but could definitely use a deep clean. The beds were firm and pillows were decent. No frills. The checkout was with a kiosk which was super easy and quick. This is not a fancy place but we weren't looking for fancy, we just wanted a clean, safe, cheap place to sleep and go and this definitely hit the mark.

Disliked: Amenities
Rooms where dirty and also crack heads around the door had a 2 inch gap on top the staff was good but wished they where on property still waiting on my refund
Okay, so I really wanted to like this hotel. It's a midcentury building, and there are still some midcentury details that are honestly so cute and charming--like the ceiling in my room was just gorgeous. The orange and beige vinyl space-age couches in the lobby are stunning if a bit worn. My room had a patio and shared a fenced-in yard with the other rooms on my side/floor, and it was nice because my very active toddler was able to run around a little without running off. The beds were very comfortable, the sheets were clean and soft, and the staff were very nice.
Aside from the beds, though, this place is dirty. If you wear bare feet in the rooms, your feet will be black with dirt. I didn't trust the bathtub enough to bathe my son in it, and we actually ended up not even showering there and just waiting until the next place. The first room they gave us had a patio door that didn't unlock, but nor did it really close securely, so it was unusable as a patio door AND kinda felt like someone might break in through it if they didn't mind damaging it (they did move us to another room). The floorboards were very dirty, the fridge smelled, everything but the beds just looked gross. There are sketchy people hanging around who seem drugged out.
We booked two nights. We didn't really need two nights, we needed one night and a very late checkout, but we considered staying a second night initially since we booked it. We ended up not feeling comfortable staying a second night and left.

The room was marked as no smoking yet it smelled like somebody had smoked in there a long time ago. There was no drain cover for the bathtub drain so no way to take a bath. Personal preference the beds are very firm and very uncomfortable. On the good side the check-in and check out was very good because the people are very friendly.
It was mostly fine for the 9 hours I was there. Bed was comfy. Room was on side of parking lot, so noisy. And there were some noisy people in the hall.
Worst thing was the toilet was a safety hazard. The seat was beyond loose, and the whole toilet was not securely attached to the floor. Zero amenities - not even a cup for water in the room.
even though it was late, i didn't like having to check in with a person remoting into a kiosk. it had an issue and couldn't dispense the room key. My room was too dark, and didn't have available outlets for my computer and medical equipment. i had to change rooms, but then i found bugs in the room. the sheets didn't look clean and were very thin. the room was also dark - poor light. the bathtub was painted with some paint that made it too slippery. for the first time in 40 years, i slipped on the shower and slightly hurt myself. it could have been much worse. there were no hangers on the clothes rack to hang my clothes. there were no cups for me to use with my medicine. i had to ask for everything. there were dogs in rooms making noise. The bathroom door was severely damaged. the heater was better than most as was the television. had to file a noise complaint on friday as they dont control it. the people who manage this facility should be fired.

We stayed for one night with the family; everything went fine for me and the kids, but my husband went out to the car to get some things just as a police operation was getting underway. They were apprehending a criminal and told my husband and others to wait outside until they finished. A lot of armed police arrived. All in all, my husband sat in the car waiting for about three hours, and they weren't allowed back inside until 1:00 AM. Aside from that situation, the hotel is fairly basic and dirty, but if you’re just passing through, it’s an okay place to spend the night.
This was an awful experience. Our first night we were in a handicap room and the shower was unusable. Not to mention the room was very disgusting. End tables had tobacco all over them. Lots of sketchy people on the property. Did not feel safe. We came back one evening and our door was wide open. Not sure how this happened but you would think staff would have shut it if they noticed it open. On our last night there we were evacuated out of our room by police because a man had barricaded himself in a room three rooms down from us with a gun. Police were present along with the swat team from 9:30pm until 2am when they finally got him out. We were sitting outside in our car this whole time. And police also informed us that this place is known for drugs, prostitution, and trafficking. Needless to say I was terrified and very upset that my family and myself had been in danger for the 3 days we stayed. Someone complained about our 7 lb dog barking all while there was 3 pit bulls living in a truck all weekend right outside. My dog barking would have been the least of my worries. I am also covered in what appears to be bed bug bites all over my body. I do not recommend staying here. I wish I would have known what I do now. We would have been better off staying in a tent then this place.
It was clean and worked for what we needed on our budget but didn’t feel comfortable staying there for 2 nights and wished we had just booked 1 night. There was someone that appeared to be a crackhead lingering in the parking lot. The pictures or the place are not current. Will not be staying there again.
felt unsafe. not clean. sliding door had bar across it. Could here everything upstairs. We did not stay and would not get our money back and place kept the $20.00 they charged to clean room when we were only there 5 minutes and left. Staff only said it's safe and that was it. No refund nothing.
workers working down hall-offices had stuff piled up in them.
Room were nasty. Bathroom was dirty shower and toilet are very dirty. Security gate is broken. Ther was NO security in the Area. People living in cars and vans on the property.Animals running around without leashes or owners.
There was no lock on the door into the hotel where the rooms were. There was a fight in the hall at 2am and at 5:30 am someone knocked on our door what was wandering the halls. Our dead bolt also did not work. One of the scariest hotel experiences ever!
Them room was disgusting had a hole in the wall and the entire building smells like smoke even though they say no smoking. Very hard to breathe in there.
