“This was a lovely large room in a stately home tucked away from the lively Salt Hill seaside promenade. Unfortunately we hit rush hour traffic as we approached. inching through the busy Salt Hill city center. We arrived during a rare heat wave. Like most accommodations in Ireland, there were was no AC or fans and no television. There was not a tea kettle in the room, but the house offered use of a large communal kitchen where some guests apparently cooked dinner (based on cleaned dishes drying……

“Great location on the promenade. You can walk to pubs, restaurants, and music in Salt Hill. And it's a short cab ride to all the sites in Galway.”
