"The home and the gardens are truly lovely. The owner really made us feel welcome. They also had a bunch of sporting equipment (basketball, baseball gloves, etc.) that the kids adored playing with. The kids also loved to be able to hurl duck food at the ducks. The house is in a great location and a quiet neighborhood. We would definitely go back."

"Beautiful property with abundant flowers, and 2 horses on the property. We stayed in the Spring so was very nice to see everything grow and sprout. A virtual bird sanctuary! Beautifully decorated home! The high ceilings tend to act as a huge speaker for any noise in the the living room up into the 2nd floor bedroom. Just be aware if sensitive to noise. The floors squeak a lot, but adds to the charm. We enjoyed our stay, and Christina was very helpful. Highly recommend."

"We visited for a family getaway for the apple festival. Very nice and well kept place. Plenty of space and privacy for extended family or a group of friends. The upstairs bathroom is not built for tall people due to the age of the house. We only used the downstairs shower but this was perfectly fine for our family to only have 1 shower. location is awesome for being nearby things to do while also having some space/privacy. "A perfect location for getting to the WNC Ag Center in Fletcher - an easy, no-highway route. Prior to travel, we had speedy and clear communications with the owners/managers, with easy check-in followed by a warm welcome and offers for local info as needed. Home layout and furnishings made for a very comfortable stay, and there were ample conveniences nearby (gas stations, restaurants, grocery, pharmacy, craft breweries, etc.)."

"Property was off the beaten path. The seclusion was quite nice. No cellular signal made things a little difficult. The only real complaint i have is there was animal hair everywhere. It was in the fridge, freezer and on all the beds. We had to wash all the linen befor we could comfortably sleep on them. Also the garbage was full before we were able to toss our trash forcing us not comply with their trash policy. Overall it was a good experience."

"Awe stayed for 3 nights over the weekend. We arrived at night (which I would not recommend doing for the first time you get there) and we did get a little lost. The host provided great directions, just being it the dark made it very challenging. It was very much worth the view! Beautiful place with a great set up for small kids and parents too. The host was very kind and even set out some fish food for our son to feed the koi pond with. Fit great for what we needed!"
