Allow about 1.5-2 hours to tour the site in order to walk to outlying ruins.

Be prepared to walk and for it to be HOT! Because these ruins are in the jungle, there isn't a lot of air flow, so it gets very humid and warm. MAKE SURE TO TAKE BUG SPRAY!! If they have had any rain, the mosquitoes will be out in FULL force!!
