Great place to stay minutes from all the places to be in Savannah! The rooms are gorgeous and the staff is very welcoming and friendly! It’s in a super convenient spot and very walkable to everything! I do have to say if you are noise sensitive (didn’t bother us at all as we live in the city) there is noise from Bay Street which is a high traffic area. Loved the little attached bar!

Definitely came in above my expectations. For an old building the property has done a great job keeping the charm but making it a great place to stay. The bathroom in our room was updated with a large shower The front desk staff is helpful and personable. We received free drink coupons for a beer or wine in the bar which was modern and fun. Our room had a small refrigerator and was stocked with water and popcorn. There were complimentary cold waters and sodas at the front desk as well as coffee and tea. There was a restaurant on site that served breakfast and lunch unfortunately we didn’t have the pleasure of staying in for any meals. It is on a busy street but the location was perfect for walking everywhere we wanted to go. I would recommend the East Bay Inn.

Fantastic inn. Beautiful room, comfortable bed. Perfect location to walk to shops, restaurants and riverfront. Note it’s pretty noisy from people partying and cars/trucks, but we would still stay again. Big plus - it’s dog friendly!

We took a short trip to Savannah to celebrate our 36th anniversary. This was our first time in Savannah. The East Bay Inn was perfect for our stay. This historic inn is charming and the staff is first rate. Laurie at the front desk was so helpful and answered all our questions. Our room was on the second floor and was spacious. The mattress was a bit soft for our liking, but everything else was perfect. We read some reviews about noise, but we didn't notice it. We were on the back side of the hotel overlooking the construction site and didn't even notice noise from there. Parking is tight and a bit of a challenge even though there are reserved spaces next to the inn. More than once during the day or afternoon, there seemed to be construction or maintenance pickup trucks in the reserved spaces for guests which was frustrating and made it difficult to maneuver in limited space. We were able to park overnight in a parking deck a block or so away and the Inn covered the expense, so that was appreciated. Definitely would recommend staying here. It is a lovely property and southern hospitality abounds.

Loved the history of the property, it was clean and comfortable. The staff was amazing, every day, they were all wonderful, helpful and so much fun. I felt like we were in a good area, able to walk to a lot of things. It has a personal touch with the popcorn and waters in your room (the sweetest and most polite young man that came to check if you needed anything), the drink cards to use each day and even something for your furry friend if you traveled with your pet. Having the bar next door and the restaurant below to get a quick meal was a bonus. Loved this hotel.

Helpful staff, excellent a/c & refrigerator, TV worked well, dropped off extra towels/soaps when we didn’t ask for service, etc. parking onsite is limited though….but garaged parking available up the street.
