“Great place and beautiful property with mountains, woods and a river. A nice camping cabin but it is rather rustic. AC worked great as did the hot water for the whole family. Well appointed kitchen for preparing meals. Small fridge so bring a cooler. Had a major problem with yellowjackets but the owner responded quickly with a chemical treatment and adjusted the rate very fairly. All in all a nice family getaway. ”

“Very clean motel with delicious breakfast food Will not stay again as cleaning staff woke everyone up at 8:45 am with yelling and loud industrial vacuuming No do not disturb door hangars so cleaners opened our door to ask when we were leaving!! Check out is 11 am So much for weary travelers”

“We didn't get to see any animals during our 9 day stay. A limb went through the roof and it rained and was damp and had a mildew smell so we were put in a nice cabin for the first night while they fixed it. The next day we moved into the cabin. It smelled nice. After 3 days the mildew smell came back. The cleaning crew failed to clean behind the sofa and nightstands but the rest was visually appealing. I think maybe due to the limb coming through the roof during a storm, it might be a good idea……

“We booked this last minute, and while the location is very nice, the name is a bit misleading. It’s not actually "on the lake". Our “lakefront view” offered only a small glimpse of water in the distance through the trees, and there’s no direct lake access unless you drive through the neighborhood. Be sure to check operating hours—the lodge was closed during our stay, so we didn’t get the full experience. On the positive side, the staff was friendly, the room was clean, and the mattress was……

“The cabin was nice and cozy. Quiet area, sky full of stars! We felt safe and enjoyed hiking and local restaurants. There is no Stove or stovetop!! That was my surprised, other than that the kitchen is equipped with dishware, microwave and minifridge. Love my experience and will definitely go again in the summer! Thank you ”

“I loved the location because it was just out of town enough to make our stay very peaceful and quiet! The cottage was beautiful and looked like it was just built! The owner thought of everything a renter could possibly want or need! Decorated very country chic!”

“These cottages are clean, pet friendly and a great place if you need peace and quiet for a day or 10. They're close to Bedford, PA and other sites to see. They leave great snacks as a welcome and have well stocked bath and kitchen items. The hosts are great at communication as well.. Try the area, you're going to love it!! Might spy an eagle too!”
