"Five stars are not enough. Paco and his wife are the greatest hosts. Their lovely hotel is perfectly located in town. The courtyard is a wonderful place to enjoy a drink. The rooms are large, clean and well-appointed. They went above and beyond to make sure that my friends and I had the best time in Sanlucar. ANYONE coming to town should find this gem and book a stay."

"We arrived to find the front door locked and no one there. A key pad was beside the door. I had been sent a check in confirmation but it was in Spanish. This seemed to say that entry was to use the key pad numbers preceded by the room number....but we had no room number as we hadn't checked in! After many attempts we got the door to open. Next was to find a room. The reception was unattended and we had to search the hotel's paperwork to find that we expected and had been allocated rooms. We located keys and found our rooms - which were very nice and as expected. We saw no one until breakfast and when we checked out there was again no one there. In the end our stay was ok, but it was disconcerting to say the least."

"Lovely friendly knowledgeable staff, great restaurant recommendations, easy 10-15 min walk from bus station, only couple minutes from the beach. Comfortable room, lovely terrace and best of all a bath in Spain that fits a 6ft+ chap. My stay was very quiet, didn’t hear a sound. I think the fact is away from the main plaza may be off putting for some but I think mean quieter stay "
