"We arrived at the hotel very early due to an early flight. The front desk called housekeeping to get our room ready a little earlier and that was great. They asked if we had a car and I confirmed. What I didn't know was that the parking pass was $20 PER DAY. The room was lovely. The beds were so comfy and felt as if they had a pillow top. I haven't slept this well at a hotel in some time. On another day I wanted to download my pictures from my camera. I clicked connect to wifi for the guest room and was greeted by a notice that I would be charged $12.95 per day which seemed very steep, I opted out. I truly loved the cleaner than clean restrooms in the lobby. That kind of sparkle makes your stay even more pleasant. The concierge breakfast on the 14th floor was fresh and delightful. Be forewarned that it is only open Monday-Friday 6.30am-9.30am (no weekends) with Evening Bites & Desserts Sunday-Thursday 5.30pm-10.00pm. The Blue Bistro in the lobby offers basic food that I didn't try. Our family did walk next door to First Watch for an amazing breakfast. They are only open until lunch (they all are) which ruled out dinner there. Rooted Grounds for coffee in the lobby in the mornings is to die for, the expresso shots are premium with premium service to boot. A very freindly lady greeted us every morning. Overall we had a lovely stay at the Marriot. Be mindful of those charges that can make your stay very expensive."

"This is an older property that has been renovated. The beds were very comfortable and the room was very clean. Hot and humid weather is typical in Tampa. The AC did not disappoint. It kept the room very cool. We enjoyed the pool and hot tub. The parking fee was reasonable, but the lot is small. Extra parking is in a parking deck next to the surface lot. Great location for attending events at the stadiums. The full restaurant and bar is a nice perk. We felt safe and had a good stay."
