“I came to the area to visit with my grandpa for a quick weekend trip. The house was perfect. Clean, organized, had everything mapped out that you might ever need during your stay. Location was fantastic and the view of the lake right outside of the living room window was perfect. I actually wish we were staying longer. I will definitely be looking to book this location in the future. It was everything we needed.”

“This property is so comfortable and cozy. We stayed three nights so we could hike the ice age trail, so weren't at the property during the day much. Furniture and beds are comfortable, neighborhood was quiet and Norah was very attentive. Our visit was in the fall but we didn't use the gas fireplace or the fire pit outdoors, both of which are nice amenities.”

“This cabin was a perfect fit for our family of 14, ranging in age from 1 to 60. There was plenty of room for all of us, the yard was HUGE, and the hosts were so responsive and friendly. Sand Lake was fun for fishing and the sandbar at the dock made for a great place for all our young ones to play in the water safely. They had everything we needed for a great vacation.”

“Nice place. No complaints. We spent lots of time away from the property however and couldn’t appreciate all the amenities. Being Birkie skiers, we drove north to Hayward and Cable daily, an hour to Cable. A few notes: Apple map directions sent us past our turn so use host’s written directions. Also bring your own wax paper, tupperware, etc as the kitchen is stocked a bit sparsely. Also , ping pong balls were not up to the standards of our guests. Bring your own.”

“A great pine cabin on a nice lake on a quiet street. This was our 2nd stay for my husbands birthday with our adult kids. It's a large house with a sunroom and large deck and great bar area with a tv and dart board. We are too small of a family to live that big in the house and take advantage of all it has to offer, but have had a great time both times. The detached garage is great for your grilling needs which we all appreciated. Host is phenomenal and communications were great and have nothing……

“My husband and I stayed with our two labradors. We enjoyed walking the road to the Shoal boat launch then following the trail along the shoreline. The dogs had a quick chilly swim! The trail just off the backyard is beautiful too! We watched the deer browse as we had our morning coffee. There was a day spent shopping in Spooner for local sweatshirts and woodsy decor. Lunch at the Clubhouse and burgers at the Crow bar are great! The cabin has everything you need: comfy beds and pillows, fluffy……

“Owners are really nice. The property is older and needs some updates but room was nice and comfortable. Very quiet. The pool is not open which is fine but they should state that in profile. They don’t come and change garbage or towels daily you have to go to front desk and ask. Would definitely stay again. ”
