"I am from the central CT area originally and typically need a multi-bedroom spot for my wife and toddler son. There isn’t much as far as choices in the area, but this place was great. It’s quiet, clean and cozy. Chris and his wife are great communicators and hosts - they met us to show us around and answer shy questions, and then let us enjoy our stay. "Location was good. But the place was dirty. There were dust everywhere: on shelves, on furniture, on refrigerator. There were dirty dishes with mildew on them in the dishwasher. When we run dishwasher it leaked. Lamp fell off the ceiling. And then we found our loaf of bread half eaten and mice droppings everywhere. Owner explained that dishwasher wasn't run properly because he didn't provide dishwasher tablets. He did brought these tabs to us and then tried to fix that dishwasher. When...

"Great property, very cozy and alot of history in the house. Host goes above and beyond to make sure everything is ready for your stay. Communication is out of this world. Would absolutely stay again. "

"Great location - we walked to Litchfield Center and to all the shops and restaurants. The house was nice. Would have loved a few extra blankets as it was unusually cold the weekend of our visit. But it was comfortable and the owner was responsive to all questions and texts. I would recommend this house. "
