It is a conversion of a 17th Century barn and has lots of original features with a real home from home feeling. There is a large wood burning stove in the living room. There are two bedrooms upstairs - a double and a twin room. The main floor has everything you need for relaxing comfortably: dining area, seating area and lovely, functional kitchen. The washing machine tucked away in the entrance area was a much-welcomed bonus! Upstairs are two lovely bedrooms with comfortable beds (verified by a friend who stopped by for a few days), and a large bathroom with big tub and good shower. The views from the cottage are outstanding. The cottage is thoughtfully decorated with nice pieces and beautiful artwork. Chris kindly stopped by during my first week to check in and ask if there was anything else I needed. All communication with him was very timely. I knew he could be depended upon if I had an urgent need. Out the door to the right is Grassington’s Main Street. To the left is a nice hiking trail. I stayed for two weeks and I was beginning to feel very much at home.
