Slide and Splash is located near Lagoa, Vale de Deus, Estombar, in Algarve. It’s one of the largest water parks in Portugal, occupying an area of 6.5 hectares, and a top attraction for family getaways.
There is a great selection of attractions to cater for the whole family at Slide and Splash. Children under five will love the Children Foam Slides, with its soft slopes and splash pool that’s exclusively for the little ones, making it extra safe. Then there’s Tropical Paradise, a fantasy water world with a manageable depth of 0.20m that offers interactive games and slides shaped like animals.
For older children and grownups there are several more adrenaline pumping attractions, such as Cork Screw Radical, which spirals like a snail’s shell, and Drops Slides, which launches riders into the pool. Then there are Blue and Black Hole slides, which are completely enclosed, or “Crazy River”, which resembles a bubbling and raging rapids.
If you want some real speed, make sure you don’t miss Banzai, which is tackled on a rugor Kamikaze with two, 18 m high, parallel tubes. There is also a Jacuzzi Oval pool with relaxing hydro-massage jets slides and an Olympic swimming pool, called “Laguna Giant”, for some serious swimming or simple frolicking
You can also watch live shows throughout the day, where eagles and hawks engage in a free flight show, parrots and macaws perform aerobatics or you can learn about the various species of reptiles that live at the park.
In addition, you can hire lockers, chairs and umbrellas on site. Slide and Splash also has restaurants, pizzerias and gelateria to fill your appetite. Last but not least, parking is free for all Slide and Splash customers.
