"We had a studio which was basic at best. Curtains didn’t quite meet, damage to the walls, stained bath, not very attractive bedding, very basic kitchen equipment. Only two glasses! The service wasn’t great, pool bar wasn’t even open on Sunday in May so we had to go inside order and wait to bring our own food back out to the pool Not worth the price in my opinion "

"I can't praise Editory by The Sea Hotel enough! Upon arriving, the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Check-in was a breeze. The restaurant on-site was open until 10pm, so I had just enough time to grab a bite before heading to my room. The food was delicious! Upon entering my room, it was very clean, spacious and had an amazing view of the ocean. I don't require much when I travel, because I typically bring my own things but the room did have other essentials which was nice. It is located 2 blocks from a famous lighthouse and breathtaking views of cliffs, caves and clear blue water. The property was also very close to old town and the marina, 4 min drive. The parking garage was super clean/safe and easy to access. This property has a massive kids room with so many fun things to do! My friend and I found it while we were wandering around late one evening. LOL It was empty so we lounged on the giant comfy bean bags and then played connect 4 until I was done being a loser. Haha. There is also a separate bar that is open until 11pm and the bartender was fantastic! He made up the coolest birthday shot for my friends 21st bday celebration. It was clear with a line of blue on top. VERY YUMMY! The breakfast buffet always had excellent choices for people with all kinds of dietary needs/wants. I honestly could go on and on...but why don't you just book it and take a look for yourself? I promise you WILL NOT be disappointed! 5 stars/2 thumbs up/10 out of 10!"

"The hotel was gorgeous, beautiful pool area and lovely, large rooms. My complaint is with the hotel restaurant itself. We had been traveling all day and were hungry. We were the second table to arrive at the restaurant. We ordered food and then waited. And waited. And waited. After an hour, we were furious. Our waiter had NEVER come back to our table, never brought food, never checked, etc. We got up to leave and suddenly he ran over to us. We left the restaurant, feeling super angry. I guess he told someone because the restaurant manager actually came to our room that night. He apologized and gave us free breakfast the next day. That was kind, but it doesn't change the bad service we received. It kind of ruined our whole experience. "

"This resort is luxury level at a very reasonable price. The room was high end, with everything we needed in the resort. I would have preferred a different coffee maker in the room (it had a Nescafe Dolce Gusto), but that's a very minor issue. The appliances were great. It took a while to figure out the clothes washer, but once we had that in hand, we had no issues. The proximity of the resort to the beach was fantastic and all of the pools were high end. This is in a secluded part of Lagos so it's great if you like a quiet resort. It was almost always only 4 euros to take a Bolt to the Marina. It was also only a short walk to the Lagos Boardwalk. All in all, this was a fantastic find."
