“Very clean and friendly staff. We would highly recommend this accommodation. We stayed for one night on the start of a motorcycle tour in Spain and Portugal. Breakfast was included and was very welcome. We arrived quite late as we had problems getting off the ferry at santander. The staff left our room key in a safe lock and sent us a message. That took the pressure off us getting to the accommodation before reception closed. We will definitely come back again. Thank you for a pleasant stay.”

“This is a beautiful hotel which is well situated to see the tomb of Pelayo and the basilica. Charming and full of character, this hotel is worth the money. The restaurant serves dinner with Asturian classics at a reasonable price. The only criticism is that the waiter could not tell us anything about the cheeses we were eating. As Asturias is known for its gastronomy, a hotel of this class should have staff who can talk about the food in either English or Spanish. That said, I would not hesitate……

“This is an excellent property in the Picos de Europa park. The best reason to book this hotel are the hot springs. You get one 40 minute session per night which is very relaxing after a day of hiking. These are natural hot springs flowing from the outside, with many different water massage areas, as well as a sauna, steam room, onsen, whirlpool and cold rinsing pool. They also have along outdoor pool if you want to swim. The second reason is the location. You are between Fuente De and Poncebos.……

“Place was a dream. Chalet style property, first class operation. My wife and I couldn’t have asked for more.. the staff went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable. We met the son of the owner who explained the history of the property. Loved it. Hope someday to stay again.”
