Quality Inn & Suites Vancouver - Hazel Dell
"Don't be put off by the location as I was. The entrance is up a narrow street between a used car lot and a restaurant/bar. At the tip of the hill you will find several individual buildings. It took us a minute to see the entrance which is in the first building to the parking lot. Regardless of its location near a restaurant/bar, we had no noise or any type of interference. It was a very quiet location other than the muffled road noise from Hwy 99, Our room was in the same building as the office and near where the morning breakfast was laid out. Our room was very large, with a couch, coffee table, side table, full length mirror, closet, flat screen TV, desk with adjustable rolling chair and a very comfortable King size bed. Although the whole hotel appeared to have recently been updated, there were a few things that still pointed to its original age. One -was the size of the bathroom, which was on the small - but doable size, and the fabric couch - which was very comfortable, but after COVID, the hotels in which we have stayed all have vinyl or leather couches for sanitation purposes. We had a comfortable stay. The room attendant left us mints each morning which was special, and our linens and towels were changed daily - which is often not the case even in high end hotels. Breakfast was good, with a small but decent choice of foods. There is a Starbucks a few blocks away, also a Walmart (no fresh produce) and a Fred Meyers very close. No walkable stores or sights to see."
Comfort Inn & Suites Vancouver Downtown City Center
"Convenient parking and access, this property is far enough away from the waterfront to be quiet but still a quick drive to restaurants and shopping. Dog friendly and we appreciated being located near an exit, The bathroom was clean and bright, but our room was dark."
