We did not bring pets, but it was pet friendly. The house was everything it said it was online. It was in very good condition. It was very convenient. We were able to see Manatees going down the Canal. Restaurants were close. We would stay there again.

This was our second stay on the property in a few years. We absolutely love the location, house setup and pet-friendliness. The host is awesome - super-responsive! We were able to see more wildlife this time than ever before, which was awesome for my kids! Dolphins, manatees and otters (watch out! He’s a klepto!) Overall, this is a great place for a family stay! Well-equipped with all you need for fun!

Best Location

Very clean. Love the house. Best location. We have always stayed on the main river, but we probably won't anymore. We loved being away from everyone. Saw more wildlife and manatees on this trip.

Perfect getaway

We truly enjoyed this home! The facts it came with kayaks & was a waterfront home, was everything to us! They let us do an early check in, due to no one staying the previous night, so thoughtful of them! Home came with everything! My girls truly enjoyed this home! We had the best time, the home was so clean (to the point we had to tap the sliding door to see which was open!) Will recommend over and over again!

Great family vacation spot!

We had a great time at this home! It's decorated very cute and we liked the old Florida/Weeki Wachee prints hanging.There were plenty of supplies needed for the week and the hosts were super easy to work with. The kids loved playing in the water and kayaking!

The house was a beautiful house on the water it had kayaks we went down river an was a wonderful experience me and my family had. The rooms where so beautiful the kids loved the buckbeds and they had family game that the kids enjoyed we had a wonderful time definitely well do it again thanks Kelly

Great Memories!

We had a wonderful time at this home. Super clean, comfortable beds, great quiet neighborhood. We went kayaking three times and saw the manatees, that was awesome! Enjoyed lots of time in the sun room and on the deck. Thank you so much for being wonderful hosts. The home had everything we needed.

Florida Fun and Charm

Daily morning kayaking to visit the holes where we would see families of manatees. Swimming and playing in the water to refresh and enjoy in the afternoon. The house is clean and in a beautiful location, with lots of recreational things to do. We especially love the vintage Florida art and comfort of this charming home.

Excellent property with tons of extras. This house has it all dog kennel, pack & play, games for all ages, numerous kayaks and paddle boards. Just remember to bring your fishing poles! House was super clean and communication with the property owners was excellent. Will definitely be coming back to this property!!!!

Relax & enjoy

What a relaxing place to vacation even if we had an unexpected guest (Hurricane Debbie). It rained the first 3 days we were there, but it forced us to relax. The water did rise & the wind blew but Kelly & Dave kept constant contact with us. We couldn't have asked for better hosts, accommodations & location. Everything you needed was there. Would definitely recommend this place & would stay again. Thanks for everything.

The house is wonderfully updated and CLEAN!! with comfortable beds, reclining sofa, tv's in all 3 bedrooms, wonderful Florida room and deck. Everything you need!! Safe community, fenced area for pups. We had manatees come by the house everyday! Short kayak paddle to river...easy to kayak all around. Can't wait to go back. Most relaxing vacation. Host are WONDERFUL!! 10 🌟 stars!!

Christmas Vacation 2023

I'm thrilled to share our experience at this amazing house on the river. Our family spent Christmas week here and had a fantastic time. The house was incredibly well-equipped, making it a breeze to prepare Christmas dinner. The back deck provided a peaceful retreat, and could often be entertaining as we watched people make their way on the river. We kayaked daily and enjoyed going to the hospital hole to see the manatees. The hosts were consistently helpful and prompt in fulfilling any of our requests and providing us with information. Highly recommended for a memorable stay!

relaxing getaway

We had an amazing time at Kelly's house on the canal. The house was just as pictured, Kelly and her husband were perfect hosts easy to get a hold of if we needed anything. We loved sitting out on the deck soaking up the sun,fishing and kayaking. Loved the little extras , charging cords in the master and the shampoo dispensers in the showers. The location was perfect as we were visiting family nearby. Lots of great restaurants. Will definitely consider renting again. Thank you for a great week! Only suggestion- we could have used another potholder .

Weeki Wachee River Escape!

We were visiting Florida to celebrate my mom's 90th birthday. Family was gathering from across the country, and we wanted one central location as a home base. This property was perfect for our needs, and our small dog. Three bedrooms and two baths worked well. The unit was well stocked with all necessary items for cooking, bedding. and bath. The location was as described, a short Kayke ride from the property to the Weeki Wachee River. We were able to sneak in a few rides in the supplied Kayke's down the river and were pleasantly surprised to actual Kayke with the Manatees, simply amazing. The owners were very responsive to any questions we had. Would definitely recommend this unit for a family vacation.

A staycation weekend for a couple of Florida locals …

We had an absolutely wonderful stay! From the moment we booked, Kelly along with Sonia and the entire team at Hostaway demonstrated exceptional communication—providing every detail we needed ahead of time, checking in with us during our stay, and making the entire process seamless through to checkout. Their high standards and thoughtful attention to detail were evident throughout the home.The property itself was exactly as described—spacious, comfortable, and spotless. Located right on the beautiful Weeki Wachee River, it offered both relaxation and adventure. We made full use of the included water toys, took the kayak out daily, played on the water mat while manatees swam by, and fished from the dock with the gear we brought. The home also had a great selection of games that added to the fun. Kelly and Sonia shared restaurant suggestions and hot spots that only locals know about. The home is just minutes from Weeki Wachee Springs and Hernando Beach, making it the perfect base for exploring the area. My husband and I travel for our careers we were looking for a peaceful staycation, and this experience far exceeded our expectations. We left feeling recharged and grateful for such a memorable, well-hosted weekend. We are already looking forward to booking with Kelly many more times in the future! Perfect stay!

Our stay at the charming 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom rental house on the Weeki Wachee River exceeded all expectations. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the pristine condition of the property and the thoughtful amenities provided. The house itself is beautifully maintained and tastefully decorated, offering a cozy yet spacious environment for our group. Each of the three bedrooms was comfortable and well-appointed, ensuring a restful night’s sleep. The two bathrooms were spotless and stocked with all the essentials, adding to the convenience of our stay. The kitchen was fully equipped with modern appliances and all the cookware we needed to prepare meals, which was a delightful surprise. One of the highlights of our stay was the easy access to the Weeki Wachee River and the ability to have our boat behind the house. The provided kayaks and paddleboards were in excellent condition and greatly enhanced our experience. The location of the house is ideal! Overall this rental house had everything we needed and more! Kelly was extremely communicative and I will definitely rent from her again!
