“Thanks to our very accommodating hosts we had a good first night in SA after a rough overnight flight. Host and family live on property so if you want it very private... Not for you. Host even offered to drive us to get take out dinner as driving on the left with a stick shift in the dark seemed a rather daunting task. Wholeheartedly recommended.”

“Everything was perfect. The only thing the property needs to do is to invest some money to get an electrity generator for the lights and WiFi. Otherwise, I really enjoyed my time the property. Special thanks for George, Albert, and the people running the guest house. I definitely recommend it. On the other hand, I believe that having a car is a necessity to move around the city and its surrounding.”

From our first correspondence she was extremely helpful, interactive, wanting our stay to be as comfortable as possibe. Margaret's Place is the perfect place to spend the night before a flight, it being so close to OR Thambo Airport. We will be staying there again.”

“We enjoyed our stay here for the most part. Everything was as we would have expected it to be in a VRBO listing except there were two amenities missing; a dryer and Air Conditioning. When we tried to contact the host about why these were listed when they are clearly not available in the unit, the host got angry with us and told us to vacate the premise in order to get a refund. It was late and this wasn't an option. We had previously written in to VRBO to describe this mismatch between amenities……

“I made payment payment came out my bank , host never even knew i had paid and and and so got ripped off by vrbo as they said i could not get a refund even after host said no payment was made to him and had to find a alternitive stay as vrbo said not there problem so would suhest using anaother platform”

“Some drawbacks to the inhouse dining which is very good, but challenging in terms of room service. Any difficulties however are handled thoughtfully and quickly.”

“This property was a pleasant surprise. I was better quality than I expected. Actually it was nice. The only downfall I saw was they don’t pre-authorise your creditcard to allow for accidentals such as room service, washing clothes. So the room service you have to pay separately and the washing of clothing you have to go to the front desk to pay first before they will deliver the washed clothes, very inefficient. ”
