Great family trip

We had a wonderful and relaxing time. The house was perfect for the family to visit together with lots of seating and open concept. Clean. Quick to go back and forth between the house, the beach, and the pool.

Great property and great location. Important item was the mattresses were great and we all slept well. Pool was perfect. Very clean and the owner is very nice and communicated with us before and after our stay. Highly recommended!!

Reel Deal is The Real Deal

We absolutely loved our time at The Reel Deal. House was fantastic and perfect place on the beach. You pretty much have a private beach just a few steps from the house. It was nice to have a private pool to come back up to after a few hours down on the beach. Its in a gated community which we really loved. Gordon was so great to deal with and we will be back next year. We have finally found our perfect beach home rental.

Great house for families

The property is well kept, and a great location for families to enjoy a week at the beach. The house and pool were clean and inviting. The beach wasn't crowded, and overall we had an enjoyable week.

Perfection!

I cannot praise this property enough! My family and I have stayed on the island for almost 30 years and this is by far our favorite house. The location, the floor plan, the cleanliness, and the host are exceptional. I cannot wait to book for next year.

Beach Front House

The house and Gulf front location with a large pool was perfect for our family. The large FR, breakfast bar, dining table (hard to find) & 3 BR + loft bunk beds accommodated all of us comfortably. For our next beach vacation, I’m sure we will be back.

SGI never disappoints and The Reel Deal held up its end of the bargain! Everything about the house was as described and if I had to pick an area of improvement, it would be to provide 2 bath towels/washcloths per person.

Great place for family vacation

We visited A Reel Deal with another family and had a great trip! The view from the deck is beautiful and the house is well maintained. We couldn't have asked for a more relaxing week. Gordon, the owner, did a great job communicating with us about the trip. I hope we can return someday.

Beautiful beach front property, terrific owner

Gorgeous house and we have never stayed with an owner who is so diligent. The kitchen is more well stocked than any house there! Lots of room for everyone, walk right out onto the beach! Gorgeous!

Great beachfront home

Loved the ability to park under the house and keep our cars cool. Home was very clean. Plenty of seating in open main floor for relaxing and eating. Beach was marvelously uncrowded. Great outdoor spaces.

Older siblings get together

The location could not be beat. Beautiful ocean views, saw dolphins every morning while having coffee on the deck. Nice large private pool is another advantage. The forgotten coast doesn't have crowded beaches but the beach in front of the house almost felt private. I will definitely choose this rental again when returning to St George Island.

Perfect location

We had an amazing week on beautiful St. George Island. The home is in a perfect location, accommodated six adults perfectly allowing us all our own bit of privacy. The pool is larger than most private home pools and we definitely enjoyed it. It would be nice if there had been some lighting for night swimming. All in all we had a great vacation.

Perfect beach getaway.

This property was perfect. The back porch integrates nicely into the beach which was not heavily populated. The heated pool in the fall was great. Ambient lighting at night made it a perfect location for star gazing. The Plantation side of St George Island was very secluded and had a lot of walking and biking opportunities. Will definitely be visiting again.

Most relaxing vacation ever!!!

A “Reel Deal” at St. George Island surpassed all of our expectations. This beautiful house had plenty of room and was just steps away the ocean. The privacy of The Plantation, location of the house and great fishing were some of the things that we loved. The house was very clean and had everything we needed. It was nice to not have to wait hours to eat at a restaurant and endure heavy traffic in a crowded beach area. We can’t wait to go back!

What's not to love?

This beautiful home has the perfect view of the ocean. It was spacious, had everything you need in the well stocked kitchen and decorated beautify. Loved seeing pictures of the Stark family in their beach home. The pool was enjoyed by everyone when we were not on the beach. We hope to return in 2024! A Great Spot!

Loved this property. It was very well appointed with all the needs for a great beach stay. The pool was wonderful and being within the plantation was quiet and peaceful. We were welcomed by Dolphins on our check in day and got to enjoy seeing them all week long. The host was very gracious and attentive and made sure everything was as requested. We took our family (all adult children and spouses) with us and they also greatly enjoyed the property. Loved the fact that we could walk out on the back deck, down the steps and be at the beach or pool. I would highly recommend this property.

Truly is the Reel Deal!

Beautiful property! My family and I thoroughly enjoyed the beach front view, the pool, and great biking paths in the area (just outside the door). Gordon was super responsive and great to work with! You see his beautiful family displayed throughout the house which makes it even more special. Highly Recommend!!
