Cozy Studio Cottage on "The Hill," walkably close to everything! The Zoo, Park!!

Check-in 2: P M or later. Check-out 11:00 AM. or earlier. The "Hill Cottage" has a fully stocked kitchen, large back deck, with table and chairs for outdoor smoking and dining outdoors. Pets? Yes- $20. fee.
Mediteranium show tub with glass tiles, triple shower heads, one being a large "rainshower". It has skylight windows, a newer pillowtop memory foam queen size mattress, and gleaming white faux marble ceramic floors. Completely private, quiet, restful, the perfectly clean place to relax and explore the delights of the Hill. Extra sheets and towels, blankets, a large walk-in closet to hang your clothes and store your suitcases out of sight. A huge T V. , Wifi, easy key entry, self check-in. Best privacy. Lush with plants, flowers, and greenery. Host available next door if you need help with anything. Plus we have "instant book" and we're moderate
with easy cancellations. There is a laundromat 2 blocks away. If you are pressed for time I could wash and dry and put your clothes on hangers for you.
Park on the street in the front of the brick-front house or nearby.
To enter the cottage, just walk up the short, lighted driveway and through the unlocked chain length small gate. At that point you can see the cottage. We like to briefly welcome new guests, but we also accommodate self check-in . If you choose to check yourself in, the key will be on the doorknob,. There is a lockbox on the gate providing a spare in case you lose your key or lock yourself out. (Code provided after booking, along with ph.#. ) wifi code is posted inside. Pay owner for pet fees- 20. per pet per night. Please bring cash and pay on arrival. Less for longer-term stays. See John, Mary, or Aimee. Welcome to "The Hill"!

Perfect size and location

I rented this cottage as it was so close to St Ambrose Catholic Church for my daughter’s wedding. I dropped off the wedding flowers there, and asked the owners to set the thermostat perfectly for them to stay fresh for the following days event. They honored my wishes and were extremely kind. The newlyweds stayed there the night of their wedding and it was the perfect size and location of the venue LaVerona.

Peaceful Stay

I appreciated being greeted by the hosts each day. I appreciate the accommodations that were made for my pet and I. Hygiene and cleaning supplies were available if I needed them. I had plenty of privacy. The neighborhood was quiet and very easy to navigate. Parking was my only complaint, but that had nothing to do with the hosts. It’s just something to be mindful of if you plan on staying in the area. I didn’t realize how popular the area was.

Quaint Studio

This is our second stay at the Cottage on the Hill and we look forward to staying here again. It is a quaint, clean studio style cottage. Authentic Italian Cuisine awaits less than a block away. This was a fabulous place for an overnight stay with our 2 small dogs. We will be back!

Anniversary Getaway

We live a little over an hour outside St Louis and decided this year to Christmas shop and eat on The Hill for our anniversary. Mary's house was perfect for the two of us. Lots of privacy, the cottage is well stocked for guests. We had a nice big TV for when we wanted to be there and it was just nice and cozy. I would definitely stay again.

Love this Cottage

We very much enjoyed this lovely cottage on The Hill. The host was awesome and took care of the small details. The path to the cottage is lit well with led lights and the inside of the cottage was cozy and welcoming. Centrally located on The Hill with a wonderful deli across the street and an easy walk to all The Hill has to offer.

Great place for weekend trip

The location and size was perfect for me, my husband and our puppy. We were in town for a Cardinals game. The house is behind the owner’s house and parking is on the street. but not in front of the rental. The owner’s son met us to give the key and for us to pay the pet deposit. He was very friendly and nice. We were tired from driving and trying to travel with our puppy for the first time so it would have been easier to check in with a lockbox. I understand why they want to physically hand you a key since the house is in the backyard. The neighborhood is cute and quiet.
