Your Amazing Mountain Paradise Awaits in the beautiful Yampa valley!  Nestled in the shadow of the legendary Steamboat Ski Resort is the desirable Rockies community.  Our cozy well-appointed 1 BR garden level condo is a short 10 minute walk or free bus ride to the gondola at Steamboat Resort. Enjoy being close enough to walk to the lifts and a variety of restaurants without paying the premium price for ski in/ ski out. 

The entire condo features a comfy king sized bed, plush pull-out sofa, and reclaimed beetle kill wood furniture.  Enjoy the well stocked kitchen with everything you need to cook up gourmet meals, including chef quality cookware, crock pot, and a full sized range and oven. We are happy to provide kitchen staples like oil, basic spices, foil, and a coffee grinder filled with fresh beans to make you feel right at home. There's also a small fold up desk in the closet for anyone needing a working space.

After a long day of skiing Steamboats world famous Champagne Powder®, stash your ski gear in the private ski locker right outside the front door. Then, kick back and relax in front of the fire in our cozy living room. Watch the game or your favorite movie on the 55” smart TV that’s above the warm gas fireplace. Catch up on your favorite Netflix or Amazon Prime shows on the 34" SMART TV in the bedroom. If you’re not up for watching TV, then head outside to enjoy a swim or soak in the Rockies heated pool & hot tubs.  The Rockies Clubhouse area also has a ping pong table, a treadmill & elliptical machine, fireplace, grills and coin operated laundry facilities available for you to use.

Our condo is also conveniently located a short half mile, 10 minute walk to the Wild Horse Marketplace where you will find multiple bars, restaurants, sandwich shops, and even a movie theater. Want to explore more shopping and restaurant options, or  take a dip  in the Old Town Hot springs? - historic downtown Steamboat Springs’ charming main street is just two miles away.  For car-free transportation options during the winter, the Rockies provides an on-call shuttle service after 6pm to take you wherever you want to go in town. The Steamboat Springs Transit Bus also provides free bus service every 20 minutes, served from a stop on the Purple Line just steps from the condo.

Stellar Steamboat Stay @ Steve’s

My boyfriend and I had a wonderful time staying at this lovely condo in Steamboat! We were in town to ski and attend the WinterWonderGrass Music Festival. The condo was a well-appointed cozy place to rest and relax when not on the mountain or at the fest. We loved the close proximity to the resort and festival grounds, the shuttle system, the sweet heated pool and hot tub, close, plentiful parking, ease of check in, and Steve’s excellent communication prior to and throughout our stay. We highly recommend this unit to other travelers and hope we’re able to stay again on a future trip. Thanks Steve!

Lovely Condo!

Great location, very clean and cozy condo. Just the right size for the 2 of us. The kitchen was very well stocked, including coffee and teas to get your day going. Nikki responded very quickly to our questions on the first day. We would definitely stay here again.

Great rental!

Cute, cozy condo in a great location. The bed and pillows were ultra comfy and the kitchen was fully stocked. It's small but perfect for two people who spend most of their time outdoors. My only negative is that you can hear every time the people above you walk so bring ear plugs!

a very good place

The apartment was quite nice and the kitchen was well stocked. Accessing the apartment was easy. We had only two reservations: the refrigerator was loud and ran almost constantly, and the shower (in a tub) has no grab bar, which made us feel like it was risky. (We're in our 70s.)

Steamboat stay

The property was nice. They had lots of supplies available in the kitchen. It was handy to not have to climb a lot of stairs. Bed was pretty comfortable, nice to have the king size. Just a little attention to detail on dusting off light fixtures would make for a perfect little spot (there were some cobwebs). The pool area was nice and well kept. We would go back to this place.

Great unit

Lovely stay. Great heated pool for kids and 2 hot tubs for adults. Purple bus is great for back and forth from slopes. Always on time for pick up at unit and on the mountain. Unlike other condo shuttles where waiting can take a while and hard to determine which shuttle is yours. Living room area is small as others have stated but just fine for breakfast. Memory foam not my favorite type of bed but that is just a personal preference for plush mattresses. You can hear a lot of boot traffic but very typical for ski season condo. Sound machine provided in the bedroom and we always bring sound machines for living room pull out couch area sleeping.

Enjoyed our stay

Communication with the host could not have been better, got excellent directions, easy parking, entry into the unit was very staright forward. Well stocked kitchen (including a variety of teas), they even left some choclate and ear plugs for us(we did use the ear plugs as noise insulation between units was not great). Sofabed was comfortable but bedroom bed is a memory foam which means that if you move a little during the night, you sometimes feel like you're sleeping in a ditch. I suppose this type of bed is a personal choice but it is not my choice. The place is comfortable but not huge(especially tight if using the sofabed). TVs and internet were great and so was the outdoor hottub. My biggest issue with the place was the listing's claim that it is walking distance to the gondola. This might be the case in the summer but walking this distance in ski boots, carrying skis and poles was not an option for us. And judging by the amount of people waiting at the bus stop, it didn't appear to be an option for anyone else staying at this complex. Overall though, it is a nice well managed unit.

Perfect for us!

The property was great for us, 2 adults and 2 year old in a pack n play that fit nicely on the side of the bed. Loved the ground level patio, pool was great, and Steve was very easy and prompt with communication. Would stay again, great easy location to town and the base of the ski hill.

We had an awesome stay. Super close to bus line. Booked transportation to and from airport otherwise we used the free bus service for everything. Room was perfect. Host easy to contact. We will be back. Steamboat is a family friendly destination.

Great neighborhood, close to the ski area and easy to bike into town. The condo was very clean and the kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed.
