Property is located in a quiet residential area and very well maintained. Love the privacy and onsen within the unit. 5 starts for breakfast and dinner with fine local ingredients especially the high grade beef. 6 stars for the staff and service.

Wonderful Stay for our Honeymoon

Amazing stay, they made us feel special and really welcomed us (even with a small gift) as we stayed here two nights for our honeymoon. There isn’t too much in the vicinity to do (walkable distance less than half an hour or an hour) but still a very beautiful and comfortable property I really enjoyed staying at with my husband.

It was an excellent stay. The place is neat and comfortable, the staff are very friendly and helpful. The food was amazing, showcasing the freshness of Kyushu's local ingredients. Not to mention the private bath with sauna room. I would definitely come back for another stay at Takachiho.

食事が大変素晴らしかったです。一部屋一部屋、プライベートスペースがきちんとあり、静かに過ごせました。 宿の方もとても親切で、早く着いてしまったので、電話したら、荷物を取りに来ていただいて、そのまま神社をめぐりました。 事情があり、二日目の朝食をとれなかったのですが、代わりにおむすびを３個ずつ作ってくださり、それが実においしかったです。 絶対に、また泊まりに行きたい宿です。今度は連泊してみたいです。連泊したら、夕飯のメニューが変わるのでしょうか？それも楽しみです。 ありがとうございました。
